From the feminine lace detailing to the classic color palette, we think these stars will love the latest collection!
I kicked off Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week this morning at the BCBG Spring 2013 show, where the brand stuck to a minimalistic yet chic approach to the upcoming season. The conservative low-hems and looser silhouettes were back for the brand this season, but they still kept things sexy thanks to the use of slits and strategic open backs — and the harness belt was everywhere. While we have seen them in prior seasons, this time around every look was finished off with a harness belt — but that’s not all!
Lace detailing dressed up more simple looks, while leather still ruled the runway — it looks like the fall trend will definitely reemerge for spring. Drop waists on dresses came down the runway, but one of my favorite looks was definitely a printed jumpsuit. The palette rarely shifted from black and white looks, but the collection still had an effortless spring vibe to it.
While I’m sure we’ll see the dresses on women who prefer more conservative silhouettes, (like Michelle Obama), I definitely think Sophia Bush will show off the classic collection on the red carpet. I could also see Emmy Rossum sporting it, specifically the form-fitting frock in blush tones.
