Talk about an awkward situation! Rihanna will be forced to sit in between Chris Brown and Drake — who have publicly duked it out (reportedly over her) — at the MTV VMAs on September 6.
E! is reporting that this love triangle will be seated in the front row at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Chris is reportedly seven seats down from Rihanna on one side — and Drake is one seat away from her on the other side.
However, as HollywoodLife.com has previously reported, Chris and Drake no longer have “beef” with each other.
“That situation already been handled and Chris [has] no beef with [Drake.] We don’t think about [him.] Drake who? That club s*** was what it was and Chris left that baggage back where it happened,” our source says.
Adding on to the list of irony, both Drake and Chris are nominated for Best Male Video. But our sources say Rihanna has already decided who she’ll be rooting for. In fact, the 24-year-old “We Found Love” singer was “crushed” when she heard that Chris wasn’t going to the VMAs!
“Sad [isn't] the right word to describe how [she's] feeling about Chris not going, [she's] crushed,” our source says. “She really wanted him to be there and to win an award,” a source told us.
Hmmm! Even though it seems like Rihanna only has eyes for Chris; it still might be an awkward show!
