Woah! K-Stew reveals she was beyond enthusiastic to become the face of Balenciaga’s new Florabotanica fragrance. Read why she practically jumped at the opportunity!
Kristen Stewart, 22, shares her excitement about being involved with Balenciaga’s new Florabotanica campaign in the October 2012 issue of Teen Vogue. About first learning about the opportunity, she exclaims, “I really would’ve jumped off a building to be a part of it– even without knowing anything about it.”
How comfortable is Kristen in her latest role? Looks like she’s feeling pretty cozy! She tells Teen Vogue that “it is an interesting thing to compare the story lines of fragrance and film. A lot of actors aren’t comfortable being themselves outside the confines of a role-it functions as protection for them. But being surprised and discovering something unexpected- a chance encounter, dress, or smell– is the most satisfying for me on a personal level.”
Because she loved the fragrance so much, Kristen effortlessly slipped into her role as spokesmodel. In this interview, she shares “I fit into this fragrance’s world really naturally. I didn’t feel like I was doing a beauty ad, lying on a couch with a bunch of bronzer on my face. This shoot fueled me the same way a movie does.”
