After the news broke last Friday that Kristen’s parents were getting a divorce and had been estranged for two years, it caused many to ask if her parents’ marital woes somehow contributed to Kristen’s cheating scandal. Dr. Phil Dembo says this may explain why Kristen decided to cheat on Rob with her director Rupert Sanders.
Dr. Phil Dembo tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “Well, Rob must have been an insider to Kristen’s feelings and reactions to her parents split up. Of all people, he must know the instability she was feeling. But that is not a green light to taking her back. If he loves/loved her at all, he would put his pride aside and at least be her friend. Help her get help! Let her find a way to heal and learn to develop stability, trust, and her commitment with and for herself so that when the painful circumstances of life unfold for her again (and it certainly will), she will feel solid enough inside to cope without destructive behavior.”

Well she’s cheating … but what does that have to do with you? It’s between her and Rob … just note: I’m against cheating, but I am for forgiveness and if love existing at all between them I am for the an attempt to building of a new trust. It would be good for her and for him. But it depends only on them

what of if he does not have feeling anymore.?.why will he be the one to pay the price after that humiliation.so that he can be seen as a nice guy .is not his duty or must that he has to help her.bad times —yes but kristen has known about this for a while so she knows the divorce is comming after all her mum and dad does not live together for two years now..i really feel for her for this ,and for sure she will get through it but,no one has to take it as an obligation that rob must be there for her right now b/c he too is also in a mess. he is trying to find himself too.

no one ever want bad news but have you guys ever given it a true and honest thought to be able to ask yourselves if these two equally —i mean equally loved each other?.we use to think they do until this hell breaks loose.are they going to be happy together or apart?.i do not think that the media or fans has the ability to judge that or genuinely reason on that b/c they are too superficial,biased, and cannot seperate real from fiction .so rob has to decide this.follow his heart ,b/c he is the only one who knows what he is thinking or feeling.no amount of expert need to decide or thinks he has all the answers because at the end of the day ,is rob that will be in there with whatever decision he makes.

I love both Rob and Kristen but I always question the credibility of any reports. I oppose the idea that it’s up to Rob because of Kristen’s parent’s cheating. Please don’t make him accountable. I hope from the bottom of my heart that they do get together but don’t make him accountable. The other thing is that no one really knows what is going on so don’t speculate.

Ok I am sorry but I don’t think Kristen’s parents divorce has anything to do with what happened. She has know for 2 years that her parents were estranged. Why would she not have gone of the deep end than. She obviously knew that sometime down the track if they did not get back together they would eventually divorce. Surely her parents would have discussed their split 2 years ago and thought she could handle it. What she was about 20 at the time she was not a kid. Also wasn’t her mother’s boyfriend with them in CANNES at the time.She would have had Rob by her side to help her. Her parents had not decided to divorce until last week after TWILIGHT was finished. Kristen did what she did well before that. So she can’t use her parent’s divorce as an excuse. The way this dr is talking about Kristen it is though she has lost the plot and needs help. This Dr Phil Dembo does not know what he is talking about. Why would he even talk to HL. Isn’t he suppose to be a professional. I have also read that Kristen has to appear in Toronto to promote OTR because it is in her contract. That is why she won’t be at the MTV VMAs as this is the same day she has to be in Toronto. She also was not invited to go to London to promote OTR because there were enough of the British actors in the movie there to promote it, that is why she didn’t go. So I don’t know if any of them are going to Toronto to promote the film or if it will be just Kristen if she even shows. At the moment this is all heresay if she shows or not. I love both Rob and Kristen so here’s hoping.

Just hope press has has got it right this time and they will be on tour together as said before of course they can get over this it will take time and commitment for both of them ,so no more sides from fans and just wish them well and be happy for them.It would be nice if press and paparazzi left them alone and gave them private time which I am sure would help ,so if media is correct take Kristen away somewhere where this mad house in US is not so damaging to you both.
