Fans were surprised to find out that Kristen had an affair with Rupert Sanders, but in the Oct. 2012 issue of British ‘Vogue,’ the ‘Twilight’ actress admits to only surrounding herself with people who hold the same ‘values’ as her. Could these close friends and family have influenced Kristen to cheat on Robert Pattinson?

Kristen Stewart looks incredible in Gucci on the Oct. 2012 cover of British Vogue, in which she’s interviewed about “love and living dangerously.“ Unfortunately for Kristen, she admits to only surrounding herself with people who hold the same values that she does.

“It’s the loyalty aspect of it all. I love being on the periphery with a group of people who have the same values that I do,” Kristen told the October 2012 issue of British Vogue.

We can’t help but wonder if Kristen was influenced by the people close to her, leading her to cheat on Robert Pattinson.

Relationship expert and bestselling author Rebecca Grado tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively:

“After watching her parent’s marriage decay over the years,  Kristen’s views on relationships would have definitely been affected. If Kristen’s parents, Jules and John, became estranged in 2010, we can then assume that there may have been instability in their relationship for quite some time,” Rebecca says. “This instability would have made Kristen feel insecure and question her own relationship. It would have also made her question commitment and if it’s even possible to have an everlasting relationship.”
