The 33-year-old actress revealed her secret to shedding her baby weight — a LOT of hard work! After giving birth to son Bingham last summer, Kate worked out for several hours every day! Read on to find out more details.
Celeb mommies seem to lose their post-pregnancy pounds at near-record speeds, chalking the weight loss up to the traditional “diet and exercise.” But Kate Hudson, 33, admitted in a recent interview that it took long, grueling hours of work every day to get back into tip-top shape after giving birth to her second baby, Bingham Hawn Bellamy.
Although Kate said she struggled to lose the baby weight after her first pregnancy with son Ryder, the actress took the weight off much faster after her second pregnancy — but it didn’t come easy!
“I devoted six hours a day to a vigorous workout regime,” she told Star magazine. “I would do 45 or 55 minutes of cardio then an hour of Pilates or yoga, three times a day.”
She also said she maintains her fit figure with regular biking, running, Pilates, and dancing.
It’s refreshing to hear a celebrity be so honest about losting the baby weight! Even though not all of us have that kind of time to devote to fitness.

It is great a celebrity is finally honest!! Those of us in the real world don’t have time to take 6 hrs. A day to exercise for a month straight so it is a lot harder to lose the baby weight. But at least one celebrate mom is teasing up and not making us real world moms feel bad about not shedding our baby weight in a months time. I for one feel better about myself now because a lot of celeb moms make it seem like its no big deal to drop 30 lbs in 3 weeks but it is in fact really hard to do.
