Dean McDermott Writes ‘Open Letter’ To Baby Finn Davey

The proud father welcomed his new son Finn with an adorable message on his website! Read on to find out what he said.

Dean McDermott and Tori Spelling welcomed baby Finn Davey Spelling on Aug. 30, and the proud papa took to his website to deliver a heartfelt message to his new son!

Finn is the fourth child for Tori and Dean, and joins siblings Liam, 5, Stella, 4, and Hattie, 10 months.

Dean took to his personal site to write an open letter to his son before he was born.

“Well it’s the night before your entrance into this crazy, whacky, amazing world full of joy, good times, bad times, love, loss, friends and foes – and that’s just your brothers and sisters!” he joked.

“They’re always full of love, laughter and energy. Quite frankly they’re absolutely bonkers too, but you’re going to love them. Mom and Dad are a bit kooky too – that’s just how we roll. Not to worry though, we’ll grow on you after a while. So strap on your onesie, because it’s going to be a wild ride.”

He also described how he will always love and protect his new boy.

“I can’t wait to encourage you, and tell you that you’re the most amazing person in the world, and that you can do anything or be anything you want to be… With all my love and devotion, I will fight tooth and nail to give you the wonderful life you deserve. Because you have made my life wonderful beyond my dreams by being my child, a little angel that has found your mother and I and blessed our lives with beauty and grace.”

How sweet! We are so happy for Tori and Dean!

Even after so many years, I cant ever read anything about these two without thinking about that poor women (mary jo) who was left behind to deal with all that crap just so he could find his happiness with his soulmate.

I wanted you both to know from my standpoint, reading, watching your show, you are the best parents a child could want. Dean & Tori you both are the best. You play, laugh, always giving yourselves to your children. And I’m sure you try and put some time in for just the two of you. You both have made the most beautiful children. You both really are soul mates and it shows. Tori you have come far. From being brought up rich, you don’t act like you have to have this or that. You make life fun and about your husband and your children. Dean, you are lucky to have found her and her you. You are one heck of a man. Your family makes me smile to see someone is doing things right, and sure we’re not perfect, we all have flaws, but you both have very few. God Bless you both and your life with your children as they grow. Great people you are!

I hope she done having kids thats to many kids to be having that fast she don’t give her self time to heal.

Amazing that Dean’s life is always OPEN to publicity.

It’s amazing to me that you guys (a) don’t know much about the celebrities you blog about and (b) in the face of that, still don’t do your research. This is not Dean’s FOURTH child, you morons. Do your jobs!!!

Bonnie, while this is Tori’s fourth child, this is Dean’s FIFTH.

Congrats to Tori Dean and family. Such an adorable family and they deseve the best, but ok now Tori tie those tubes or snip snip Dean..enough kids already!!!! Although they are so resourceful that those 4 kids could eventually sell some Fab things on QVC like Tori….we DO LOVE THAT FAMILY but 4 is enough…you almost have a litter!!!!

Is nothing personal anymore. Why didn’t he write the letter on paper and keep it locked up until he wanted the kid to read it. That letter should be between him and his son, not everybody on twitter. Hollywood people will do anything for attention. They will probably be divorced by the time he’s old enough to read it anyway.

i hope he wrote a letter to his kid with the woman he was with before he left her for tori.

i hope tori spelling knows how health see looks with the little weight she gained, because she looked awful before she got pregant with hattie. so tori dont loose so much weight i dont think your husband likes it either.

Very sweet and kind letter. I’m sure the kiddo will appreciate it one day. Having watched a little of their reality show, they DO seem like a nice couple despite their Angelina/Brad beginnings. That’s a lot of children running around though! I wonder how Tori keeps her head on straight, and I also wonder if it’s true she does everything herself (that’s what I’ve heard).
