Jules & John Stewart were trying to protect their daughter and the ‘Twilight’ series before filing for divorce, but HollywoodLife.com found out EXCLUSIVELY why Jules decided to end things earlier then expected!
Kristen Stewart‘s mother Jules Stewart shocked Twilight fans by filing for divorce from her husband of 27 years, John Stewart, on August 17 in L.A. County Superior Court. But if this unhappy couple had the chance to do things the way they wanted, it would have been much earlier!
HollywoodLife.com spoke to sources EXCLUSIVELY that mentioned that Jules and John wanted to wait to file for divorce so that “it wouldn’t be the topic of discussion during the press tour and end up taking away from the film and all the hoopla surrounding it.”
What actually started the talk to file was that “Kristen’s affair really has pushed things into overdrive, making her parents want to end a relationship the proper way.”
That may seem like a slam towards Kristen and how she ruined her own relationship with Robert Pattinson by cheating on him, but her parents are, “totally on Kristen’s boat and want to do everything to protect her well-being.” It’s an emotional time in the Stewart household.

no matter what ,kristens parents should have waited for thing to blow over on kristens side before they file for divorce..if they can survive for 2 years they can as well survive for more time at least ,for things to cool down on kristens side .now she has to deal with two serious problems .that for me is no parental protection.she and their other children has to be seriously considered in making this deci sion.i really feel sorry for her on that side.she should really pray for strength b/c she really can use it.

Wow! Whatever Kristen’s parents intentions, they missed the mark. First they were going to wait until the Twilght series was over, then they decide to show her the “proper” way to end a relationship. Ouch! Not to mention a month late. If her parents intent was to take some focus off her cheating or offer up a lame excuse for her behavior as of late they blew it. Now Kristen will be fielding questions about her affair and her parents divorce. None of this justifies or excuses Kristen’s actions, it just draws more attention to her already dysfunctional life and lousy choices.

Jules-John try to teach Stew how to end a relationship properly, instead of cheating it, end it properly
Maybe Stew understand wrong on how a relationship should be when one party is not content anymore, that is why she cheats on Rob, by taking example from her parents
its quite disappointing in her mature age of 22, she cant digest any life event without being choke ?
Maybe Stew is lack in communication with her parents that is why she understand wrong on her parents marriage

Enough people !!! john and jules sad but that’s life, why wait till know to leagally declare it oh how the world turns. I’m feeling sorry for rob and kristen everything in their life is so exsposed now , they have the sisters of rob infiltrated in all this too .
