Kristen’s world was turned upside down when her parents’ relationship started to diminish. Now with the news that her parents have called it quits after 27 years, could this have affected Kristen’s view on relationships? HollywoodLife.com spoke to a relationship expert who had all the EXCLUSIVE details.
Kristen Stewart may have acted out of fear when she decided to sabotage her relationship with Rob Pattinson by cheating on him with Rupert Sanders. Relationship expert and bestselling author Rebecca Grado tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “After watching her parent’s marriage decay over the years, Kristen’s views on relationships would have definitely been affected.”
“If Kristen’s parents, Jules and John, became estranged in 2010, we can then assume that there may have been instability in their relationship for quite some time,” Rebecca says.” This instability would have made Kristen feel insecure and question her own relationship. It would have also made her question commitment and if it’s even possible to have an everlasting relationship.”
Rebecca says, “Kristen had to witness a 27-year-old relationship fall apart, this would make her ask, ‘Do relationships last?’, ‘Will my own relationship last?’, ‘What if Rob is unfaithful?’ She is going to feel out of control and one way to feel in control is to sabotage your own relationship.”
“This is something people do all of the time. They do it subconsciously. Instead of waiting to see what would happen, Kristen choose to sabotage her relationship with Rob. She probably thought it was going to end anyway and didn’t want to wait in agony.”
