Lea tweeted about ‘someone very special’ on her 26th birthday — and we know who it was!

Lea Michele and Cory Monteith‘s characters may be separated on Glee, but their real-life romance is still going strong! “Someone very special is already making it the best birthday ever,” she tweeted Aug. 28, just one hour before turning the big 2-6. “So happy:) See you in the morning! #lasthourbeforeiturn26!!!!”

“Someone very special,” huh? We think she had to be referring to Cory, with whom she recently made her red carpet debut as a couple at the 2012 Do Something Awards.

In fact, Cory even tweeted a hint a few hours later: “happy birthday @msleamichele! hope this was the best one yet :)”

Lea was spotted Aug. 29 celebrating her birthday with friends at West Hollywood’s Eveleigh, a “genuine neighborhood restaurant and bar” whose menu draws from “old-world European and American country cooking.”

But Cory’s a thoughtful boyfriend, so we’re sure he had something special planned for Lea in private.
