Kristen’s heartbreak over Robert Pattinson could have taken over her life. Find out why I’m so glad she’s turned to friend Scout Taylor-Compton for support!

Nursing a broken heart, like Kristen Stewart has been doing in the aftermath of having cheated on Robert Pattinson, is never an easy process. The depression one falls into can be dangerous, especially if you keep it to yourself. That’s why news that Kristen has been leaning on her good friend Scout Taylor-Compton comes as such a relief.

After so many reports that Kristen, 22, was spiraling downward in her depression, that she wasn’t showering, and that she was withdrawing from work, I’d grown legitimately concerned. It’s all too easy to keep all your thoughts of sorrow inside, allowing them to eat away at you and take over your life. I feared that was what Kristen was going through.

But as HollywoodLife.com has learned exclusively that Kristen has been spending time with former The Runaways co-star Scout, venting her feelings about Rob, I feel my worries ease. Turning to friends and actually vocalizing what you’re going through is incredibly healthy. It provides you with a release for the heaviness you’re carrying around and can ultimately help to free you from your sadness.

Whether she and Rob can work out their issues or not, Kristen is lucky to have a friend like Scout in her life to support and protect her.

Do you agree, HollywoodLifers?
