Does Katy Perry have what it takes to win Robert Pattinson’s heart after his estranged girlfriend Kristen Stewart cheated on him? Keep reading to see what a new report says about the possible couple!

Katy Perry, 27, would reportedly “love to land” Robert Pattinson, 26, but does she have what it takes to replace the love he had with Kristen Stewart?

We know Katy loves men with British accents — she married English comedian, Russell Brand, in 2010. But in 2012, they were divorced, and now Katy Perry might be falling for Rob.

He’s tall, funny, handsome, British — just her type. But is Katy Rob’s type?

Katy “is the opposite of Kristen,” a pal told Us Weekly. But at their Aug. 23 dinner at Hollywood’s Soho House, Katy was giggling like a schoolgirl. “She was jokey with him and a little touchy-feely. They were flirting.”

A source also tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY, “They are close friends and can just be themselves when they are with each other.” They added, “Katy has been trying to be as supportive as she can for Rob. She understands what he’s going through and wants to help him. Katy has been urging Rob to go out and be silly and have fun.”

Since Kristen Stewart was famously afraid of being seen with Rob and bothered by being affectionate in public, lovey-dovey Katy might be the perfect medicine to heal Rob’s broken heart!

Nobody will ever be able to replace Kristen Stewart in Rob’s life especially not Katy Perry, Perry has no self respect, she did not even support her own husband when he decided to stop drinking, so how can she replace anybody!

I agree, but she would be a great disctraction for Rob. They both have been done wrong by the people they trusted most : Their lover. Or in Katy’s case, her hybby. Probably when her her husband decided to quit drinking ( I know this from personal experience,) that he may have made those promises alot and to be honest, when a drunk makes promises to quit,after awhile it is an attitude of ” I’ll believe it when I see it” type of thing, because they make the promises alot,and never follow through. I was raised by two of them,I called them “Mom” & “Dad.” So,Katy was right not to support him,til he had proven to her, he would keep his word. When two poeple, hard-core partiers,( both into drinking and other stuff) collide, it is a crash course for failure: a train wreck waiting to happen. Maybe what Rob needs is to lighten up a little and have some fun. Forget what he can,and concentrate on this thing called ” life.”

No one will ever replace Kristen ,just like, if Kristen ever does get another bf, he will never, ever, measure up to Rob. I kinda feel sorry for him: The first time they make love and she screams out Rob’s name… man oh man…
What i wouldn’t give to be a fly on THAT wall, watching the look on his face. Totally priceless !

Oh yeah???? Think again. All Rob has to do is to start loosening up and he can find a girl faster. Women want a fun person on the outside, try to get to know the other person, and if she does measure up…then goodbye Kristen. He can forget her.

I don’t think anyone will take Kristen’s place in Rob’s heart. Every girl he would go out with would always remind him of Kristen. What girl would want to take 2nd place in Rob’s heart knowing he still loves Kristen and always will. When they make love and he calls out kristen’s name how do you think the other girl would feel. Not even Katy Perry. Why would he want someone elses sloppy seconds, thirds or fourths, because that is what he would be getting with Katy Perry. How many men has she been with anyway. Rob has only had 1 serious relationship anyway and that is Kristen. You can’t call Nikki reed a serious relationship she was more of a distraction before he made his move on Kristen when she turned 18. Katy Perry go away. Leave Rob alone.

@ jackie: I had looked at it that way,too, as “pervy” at it may seem, it is also very realistic. The lovemaking thing, would be very difficult for both Rob abd the woman, because she will know, whom the last one,was, both close to his heart and in his bed. No woman can compete with Kristen, either as a girlfriend or a memory. She will always be in his heart, no matter what. I agree, jackie.

Katty Perry has always been behind Rob, since 2009. Everything seemed fine between them until paelicula premiere Katty. Remember Cohachella, etc. Robert calls. She had a lot to do with romance esto.Su Meyer was just distraction, remember the photo of the day after the scandal with a superb bikini loves of 20 days to make a distraction. I do not justify any action by Kristen but something serious happened between them for things to change between the wedding and twcom producer, what happened? Katty’s premiere and party while Kristen was in Paris with Florabotànica, just analyze the facts, the press block you want and also shatters when he wants. I do not want Rob and Kris together again but Katty Perry is the worst in what Rob can be fixed, just look at his record, Kristen “come chitos” beside it.
Sabian they began to learn to cook? She had her long-planned move, which does not realize is that ordinary people are not stupid. She is a poor woman like Hollywood wants to show otherwise. The facts confirm that what I say is true, as someone said let’s see Rob rubbing the nose and lost in alcohol if you are behind it.

@ Beatrice, I noticed the change too. At the NJ wedding R and K was lovey dovey and then K went directly from there to Paris for work. Rob flew back to LA for Katy’s movie premiere and partying with the Biebs and Selena. Then one month later at Twi Com K could not stand Rob. Katy has been fooling around with Rob for a long time. Well she can have him full time now. K doesn’t have to deal with their crap any more.

No one can take kristens spot from his heart and I dont think Larry perry is good for him. Kristen Stewart has only made one mistake, compared to way Katy Perry behaves all the time, it is quite disgusting and a true friend will never give Rihanna Robert Pattinson’s Tel. NO ONE can replace Kristen!!! Rob is still very much in love with Kristen. The only reason he hasn’t gotten back together with her is because of all the media attention. He doesn’t want to be made to look the fool for taking her back after all the backlash.

I think Katy elect would not change anything but more of the same. Katy is coming from several broken relationships, it speaks of something does not like and a failed marriage for not wanting to have children and continue his career, and one of Robert’s dreams is to have children, at least Kristen already knows and though he claims not to have you more confidence, less confidence inspires me Katy. Kristen is still immature and can grow and change, but Katy is already well grown-up and knows what he is doing and decide. I’m not in favor of what he did Kristen, just saying that between the two is preferable “known evil than an unknown good” and more with the background of Katy.

Nobody made Rob stay with Kristen. He could have left any time. He stayed because he loved her. Also, Kristen would have went anywhere that Rob would have taken her, but he took her on cheap dates, yes cheap ones. No exotic vacations, walks on the beach or fancy romantic dinners where you dress up. So do not put all of the blame on Kstew.
