‘Gossip Girl’ star Leighton Meester gets caught unintentionally showing some skin in an unzipped dress — malfunctions happen to the best of us!

Is Leighton Meester trying to reinvent the backless dress, or is that a wardrobe malfunction? We’re thinking (and hoping) it’s an accident!

A lot of the most famous wardrobe malfunctions we’ve seen have been a one-second accidental slip or or the poor pairing of undergarments and sheer fabric, but on the busy set of Gossip Girl, Leighton recently suffered an easily preventable malfunction — she forgot to zip up her dress!

Although it’s not the most scandalous malfunction we’ve ever seen, it still isn’t the best look. Maybe Leighton was so hard at work that she didn’t have time? Our advice: Make time! You don’t want a slip-up to ruin an outfit that is as cute as Leighton’s. We’re also wondering if perhaps the small sample didn’t fit just right.
