Katy Perry recently went through a divorce, but a new report says she’s ready to land a new boyfriend. She’s got one guy in mind — Robert Pattinson. Here’s what sources close to Katy reveal!

Although Katy Perry, 27, isn’t admitting it, she’s looking for a new guy. She’s been friends with Robert Pattinson, 26, for about “five years,” and now she’s looking to make him something more!

After Katy was dumped by John Mayer, 34, through e-mail in mid-August, she met up with Rob for dinner at Hollywood’s Soho House on August 23.

The pair bonded over their botched relationships this year. Katy reportedly felt very connected with Rob, and felt that the dinner brought them closer together.

“Katy would secretly love to land Rob, but she won’t admit it,” a source close to the situation tells Us Weekly.

But would this be just another rebound after her fling with John Mayer? Not necessarily.

Katy used to call Rob just a “pretty face,” but time, fame and heartbreak has matured Rob. “When they met, he was a sweet kid — awkward and shy. But he’s grown up a lot.”

A source previously told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY, “They are close friends and can just be themselves when they are with each other.”

I think he should have sex with her like the revolving door that she is with men and get his anger at Kristen out so he can finally see the difference between a girl who made a mistake that was with him all this time(2 boyfriends till date) and katey perry and revolving door of men. What if Rob came to his senses and takes Kristen to England to live in a quaint town like they once planned and settle down. She could write and produce like she always wanted to do. They would be out of th HW fish bowl and she wouldn’t have to deal with his fans any more. Also, the UK has stronger privacy laws than the US. Will Rob will up in time? Who knows, but his window of opportunity is narrowing daily.

Rob needs to just stay away from any kind of Hollywood lifer! Katy Perry can be a close friend, but that should only be that: a friend. She already had 1 divorce to Russel Brand and than a “dump” from John Mayer. Now, what is the same about these 2 guys? Well, one is a comedian/actor. And the other is a musician like Katy. Rob needs to step out of the Spotlight of fame and settle down with someone from his home town or somewhere else. That is where he will feel more at peace and comfortable about himself and around that “special someone”!

If Rob dates her, it means he is not as great as we think. Very degrading in status and personality. Take an easy way to grab someone near without challenge, rather to satisfy his loneliness…. If the likes of Russell Brand and John Mayer sleep with you and dump you fast, should send a bright red flag to Rob to run away fast. This is a disaster waiting to happen. Would bring Rob down she likes to party to much and likes the fame. Rob needs to date someone who is not an actress not a star he needs to meet someone back home in London. He should not date for awhile just relax and when the time is right find a girl back home.
