Robert Pattinson may have made millions and have millions of fans, but thank the Lord, he makes it clear in a new interview that none of that will ever change him.
Robert Pattinson‘s down-to-earth attitude has been his most adorable — among many other — appealing characteristics and he’s now reassuring his fans, that he will never lose that.
Other A-listers may develop an Attitude with a capital A along with their star status, but Rob confesses in a new interview with the Chicago Sun-Times that he can’t become entitled and obnoxious, even if he tries.
“I want to change. I can’t make myself change. I can’t develop an attitude,” the star of Cosmopolis jokingly admits during the interview.
His Cosmopolis director, David Cronenberg, actually backs up his claim. “I’ve see him even try to change and it’s pathetic,” he agrees.
Now while Rob may joke about his inability to succumb to Big Star syndrome, he clearly believes that staying grounded is also key to staying successful.
Even in the wake of girlfriend Kristen Stewart‘s heartbreaking cheating scandal, Rob has taken the time to sign autographs and take photos with fans at his many public appearances promoting Cosmopolis.
“The fan love (from Twilight) is kind of amazing. I guess it’s so much better than everyone hating you,” he points out.
But as for getting an enlarged head from all his success, the Twilight star again, typically puts himself down.
“I basically have learned that I know absolutely nothing,” he says. “I thought I knew it all. Again, I know absolutely nothing.”
Well, we doubt that is true, but we beyond appreciate that fame hasn’t turned down-to-earth Rob into a diva.

What about other interviews where RP said he was the biggest douche, (cocky) and he had to reign in his attitude? It has to be difficult to receive so much attention and now have so much money. It would be hard for most young people to handle this jump to fame. For the most part, he has always been very gracious with the public. A lot of people will never comprehend RP’s mindset, lifestyle, advantages and disadvantages. He’s been very lucky, hope he always remembers that. I think movie reviewers have been overly critical of his acting because he was in twilight. So many. People love his movies, they cannot all be wrong.
