It’s evident that many fans are ‘Team Rob’ after Kristen’s affair, and in a new interview, Rob is thanking his fans for their support! Read on for more details.

Robert Pattinson is thanking his fans for sticking by him after Kristen Stewart cheated with director Rupert Sanders.

Through all the chaos of the cheating scandal, Rob felt the love of his fans. The Twi-hards definitely have showed their support for “Team Robert,” according to a new interview in Diario de Mexico.

“I don’t credit that to myself,” Rob says. “It’s just that there is something elemental about the ‘Twilight’ books and the movies. The core story has connected to people. The fan love from that is kind of amazing. I guess it’s so much better than everyone hating you.”

We’d have to agree with Rob.

@ Sophia: It is not about false hope or deluding ourselves. I think , given he had said he is a pu$$y,that he will cave in and take her back. Because he really loves her and when a man calls himself, on national tv, a “pussy” then that means he is self-depracating himself and is telling the world, he has no backbone,to stand up for himself. He really needs to figure out what he wants and to tell the truth,I think he already has. I think they will if not already,are, back together. If he can find his way back,then, he needs to go back to himself. Be true to the Robert you were BEFORE Hollywood had gotten hold of you. Please, do not turn out like so many,that when Hollywood sees something beautiful,they capitolize upon it and tear it to shreds. He and Kristen had something, something real, genuine and true,then, somewhere along the line, one or the other began taking the other for granted,and began lying,and the relationship crumbled. Then the fame monster entered into the picture and it all was dashed away and the Hollywood roller coaster took over.
Time to get off, and step back,take a deep breath and see it for what it was. Time to get real,and decide what you both REALLY want in life and take it from there. IF Rob wants Kristen back, so be it. It is between them. Time to get real,and do not look back. I can say this, because life is about change and for better or worse, this is one major change. I do not care how young they are: this type of relationship murder affects everyone, no matter the age. Cheating is cheating. Double-standards with men, will always be, no matter in Hollywood or not. We women must live at a higher standard than what the men want us to be, and to be blunt, now and again, we must even the odds.
Kristen and Rob,i really do believe, are working this out behind closed doors. (either on the cell phone or emails… but really it is up to them.) I’m tired of Rob’s drama.So ok, you have been cheated by your girlfriend it’s not the end of the world, and you’re not the first and not the last. But has any of you asked the most basic question: ”What if he cheated as well, but never got caught”. Alot of fans are forgetting that if it weren’t for Kristen, Rob would most possibly not have the fame or the fanfare that he has now…. He was a struggling actor when she first met him. She chose him singlehandedly for the Edward role, and he owes her a loyalty and an appreciation for that…..Here’s hoping he will go to her so that they can both air out their feelings….Come on Rob!!
