Katy and John’s steamy, whirlwind romance was nothing more than a short, summer fling, according to a new report! Read on for the details.

Katy Perry seemed head-over-heels for John Mayer. But it appears that their romance has reached its end, according to a new report.

Sources close to Katy revealed in July that she was officially dating John and felt a “real connection and wanted to see where things would go,” Us Weekly reports.

Unfortunately, the “summer fireworks” that were displayed over the last couple of months have reportedly come to an end, according to the publication.

Katy, 27 and John, 34, reportedly broke up after the two spent several weeks being completely inseparable, flirty, and affectionate.

So what happened? Could John, a notorious womanizer who famously spilled about his celebrity conquests, be back to his old ways?

The two were first spotted together on June 19 at the Soho House in West Hollywood and they were described as being “affectionate, holding hands and cuddling,” according to Us Weekly.

Katy’s 14-month marriage to Russell Brand was legally dissolved on July 16, 2012. Russell has since been dating Hollywood agent Isabella Brewster.

What do you think, HollywoodLifers — are you shocked or saddened over Katy and John’s split?

I do trust all the ideas you have introduced to your post.
They are very convincing and can certainly work.
Still, the posts are very short for novices.
May you please extend them a bit from next time?

Thank you for the post.
