Legendary comedienne Joan Rivers made a joke about Rihanna and Chris on Twitter, and Rihanna came back swinging! Read on for the details.
Chris Brown still has a special place in Rihanna‘s heart, as she revealed during her recent interview with Oprah Winfrey. As such, she’s not going to sit back and let people talk trash about Chris. Somebody should’ve warned Joan Rivers.
The Fashion Police funny lady tweeted, “Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown. Idiot! Now it’s MY turn to slap her,” on Friday, August 24.
Rihanna very quickly replied to Joan, saying “@Joan_Rivers wow u really do get slow when you’re old huh?” She deleted that tweet shortly after, replacing it with a less direct one that reads, “Slap on some diapers.”
Looks there’s a new feud in Hollywood!
Do you think Joan was out of line, HollywoodLifers?

totally disagree . Joan as a 80 year old woman should back off, AND most importantly WHO are we to judge what type of person Chris is ?. Rihanna was with him and she is ready to make up with him its HER problem . I dont see how any7one has a right to dictate her relationship with Chris . How are we related to her or Chris . Are we their parents , sisters brothers uncles aunties etc. No . So lets all back off and give these people SPACE . They are ADULTS not children they can make their own decisions and take responsibility for their actions. Just because they are celebs does not means we can remote control them.

Here is the problem . Joan was out of line . YOU CANNOT MAKE A JOKE ABOUT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE . PERIOD . If a woman has feelings for the man like Rih has for Chris then those are HER feelings NOT Joans feelings . Rih is expressing HER feelings in an open forum not asking for judgemental bull crap . Every human is entitled to express and have feelings it was out of place for Joan to diss Rih’s feelings as it becomes personal and secondly the word SLAP was inappropriate for a 80 year old silicon injected granny
I dont get it! Rihanna is allowed to get on National T.V. and discuss her anger with Chris Brown but then no one else is suppose to say anything bad about the situation. Yes, Joan may have been out of line, but how is it O.K for Rihanna to rehash an old wounds on T.V. Rihanna opened the door for negative comments and jokes, when she went on Oprah and spoke about her inner most feelings for Chris. What did she think was going to happen. If she talking bad about what he did to her how are people suppose to feel about him. It makes absolutely no sense even Chris was baffled by her actions. Prehaps, she should have hired a good therapist, one she could confide in and tell her the unresolved feelings she has about Chris Brown and work it out there. When you tell your business to the world, you leave the door open for people to make a comment. Frankly, I dont know how she can say she still loves him when she disrespects his request to keep this situation between them and goes on TV and tells all. Chris Brown should move on and forget about Rihanna.

its not like she called the tv and started talking, she was asked how she felt and she replied. it is better to tell the what you’re feeling than to be in denial. talking about it would help her move on. and she didnt tell everyone about her feelings to get bashed for it. its Oprah, everyone tells her the truth.

@anonymous45 “REHASH OLD WOUNDS” u said? truly those wounds were supposed to be old if not 4 the genital warts like the media, so-called comedians(e.g Juan Rivers), haters and core womanists that refused to relinquish joking about the ugly incident that tore these lovers apart 3YEARS ago. C’mon! Give Rih a break, she knew before that interview that majority of the entire world are still angry with Chris Brown, and she trust that if she comes out and tell them that she has totally forgiven him they’ll forgive him too and move on. Apparently, that didn’t stop ‘em haters and attention seekers like Juan.R to continually mock her and Chris about the incident on social networks still. Point is, she did what was right b4 God and mankind “LOVE $ FORGIVENESS”….and we all should do that too!

these 2 people are not going anywhere and take it from me if they dont get back together now they will within the next 2 years . Their feelings for each other are super strong and its evident . I mean come on Chris has a girlfreind and he is very very close to Rihanna and working on a relationship of trust with her. I mean surely people work on relationships of trust with their partners or girlfreinds not with their ex’s . Why bother building a relationship of trust with your ex unless you are in love with your ex. These 2 are definately more than just freinds and are looking for a suitable way to come out in the open. The best we can do for them is make it comfortable and help them go to therapy to work out their issues and be a good couple. I am happy to support them.

My year goes out to Rihanna. I was a victim of domestic violence myself. That being said I know how Joan feels. As a woman don’t you get tired of watching strong, beautiful women take abuse? Haven’t you ever just want to shake a friend and say “wake the f*** up!” Like you know it’s gonna happen again break the cycle. She’s not a weak little frail thing. Maybe he can change I guess I don’t know but it is hard to watch
