After Kristen cheated on Rob, it almost seemed impossible that they’d walk the carpet together at this November’s ‘Breaking Dawn — Part 2′ premiere. But according to a new report, Rob has confirmed that he WILL walk with Kristen! Read on for more details.

Robert Pattinson reportedly wants to walk side by side with Kristen Stewart on the red carpet at the final Twilight premiere in order to protect her.

“[Rob's] told movie bosses he’ll walk the red carpet to save her from embarrassment and any female fans booing her. He is being professional and taking the higher moral ground,” a source told The Sun.

This will be a sigh of relief for Twilight bosses who allegedly freaked immediately following news of Kristen’s affair with director Rupert Sanders.

While we’re ecstatic to hear this new report, seeing Rob and Kristen hold hands on the carpet would be the icing on the cake! What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers?

Lies lies lies HL….I usually defend your stories but I am calling B.S. on this one guys!!!! Dud you see Kimmel? It’s o-v-e-r with him and the SKANK ……I mean does Robert have to spell it out for you both? Saying he was “homeless” and “selling all 3 cars”..doesn’t mean he is moving from L.A. but it DOES MEAN I am moving on from this relationship and so should the SKANK K-SCREW and all of us who seem to “stopped” watching the “train wreck”

wow!! when they say that the people that believe everything they hear or read on gossip blogs are stupid , boy were they right . you just prove that point straight up ! you think for one moment he was gonna say where he lives , true people found out he bought a house ,and it’s been a nightmare ever since , he just got smarter , deflecting the whole thing so now they have no idea where he is actually ,as far anyone knows he could chillin at his house with friends or whatever . The scandal was staged. Somebody was there with them taking the photos. When have any of you seen Kristen smile at a paparazzi like she is in those photos. There’s no way she’s interacting with a pap in a tree a mile or 2 away. For some reason Roba and Kristen thought they needed to do this. Privacy maybe? That said I would like to ask fans that are going to the movie premieres to just enjoy the moment and leave Kristen alone. Please be adults. Drunk guys at football games throw things at people not twilight fans. We’re peaceful, we always have been. I think most people that are angry at her would probably cry when they see her before they did anything else. I have a feeling Rob and Kristen might make a statement before then anyway.

i will say what i said again he is such a gentleman, doesnt want anyone to be mean to her, WHY? because he still loves her, protective as he always was, she only feels comfy with him, takes all her fears away, so haters keep on hating, no one is perfect, she surely is not, you try being as famouse as her, with all that money. she has learned her lesson and now realizes what she really had, so keep your head up high and way to go rob, you have to fight for what you love, what if the shoe was on the other foot, what then, she is young andneeds you now, heartache is hell but you can get thru this, i know you can because that is the person your parents raised!!!!

Robert Walking with Kristen for the Premiere is very honorable. He definitely is a gentleman with true devotion&concern for Kristen. The idiots are the ones who judge others and choose to run them into the ground for mistakes in their personal lifes. Robert and Kristen will make it through this and I believe both have a very successful career ahead of them together or as friends.I predict many great movies from both in the future that I will support .

Hysterical article. Yesterday HL reported that Pattinson wanted nothing to do with Stewart. It would be really nice/chivalrous if Rob stood next to Stewart to ward off any attacks at the premiere. But, I’ll believe it when I see it. Was also thinking, with the life style they lead, it was only a matter of time before the relationship was tested. Stewart was a skinny, little, ordinary, valley girl,but has evolved into a stunning, beautiful woman. She has to decide what she wants, and how.to behave as the attention and attraction to her will always be there.

I would love to see them back together again if it’s real! Who really knows if they are broken up to being with right?
I feel very bad for both of them in different ways ,but damn give the girl a brake people ! She is not the first famous person to cheat omg she has been in a hot and heavy relationship with rob for a good min ,we don’t know what caused her to do what she did ,but she is very young to have all the stress and everything else that comes with this glamourous life style that she lives! This is really beautiful of Rob´s.This means he still cares for her and wants to protect her…How romantic!!!!I really hope this will make them get closer to each otehr,and who knows? @ Sanders, you are so, so silly. Yes, he is reqiured to walk the red carpet. He could walk it 50 feet in front of Kristen, but he says that he is walking it to protect her. That means side by side, if not holding. Don’t you see that Rob is giving his hateful fans like you the ultimate f..k you. Doesn’t mean he’s taking her back. He simply doesn’t want any incidents going down at the premiere. So I wouldn’t check for a Stewart-Pattinson bridal registry yet. Still some may roll up with the “Kristen Stewart is a Trampire” t-shirt, unless Summit tries to take legal steps to have those garments banned. I can’t really see that, if the fans are standing on a public street.

Summit can’t ban t-shirts, booing, or posters trashing Stewart; it’s called free speech and you have a Constitutional right to it. Rob is so cool because he knows if he’s there people/fans will think twice about doing something really offfensive.
