How Kristen Stewart Is Coping After Cheating On Robert Pattinson

Instead of burying her pain in booze and ice cream, Kristen has found a constructive way to heal her broken heart!

Even thought Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart recently began talking again, the Twilight actress is still struggling to forgive herself after cheating on her boyfriend of three years with married Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders.

To cope with her sadness and anxiety, the 22-year-old beauty has been voraciously reading self-help and enlightenment books, specifically the writings of Mahatma Gandhi. “Kristen is trying to find some inner peace within herself,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “She has always been interested in philosophy and spirituality and she has been reading a lot of different books.”

Kristen reportedly became interested in Gandhi after watching the film, Eat, Pray Love. “She began reading a biography of his life, then turned to Gandhi’s own writing because she was seeking solace,” added the source. “The quote that particularly stands out for her is, ‘The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.’ While she doesn’t know if Rob could forgive her, that statement has tempered her own regret.”

Though Kristen hasn’t completely healed, the source said that Gandhi’s inspirational passages have helped Kristen find peace during the cheating scandal. “Kristen isn’t beating herself up over it, she’s accepted that everyone makes mistakes and she has to learn from it.”
