‘Forbes’ magazine has released their annual list of most powerful women for 2012 — Lady Gaga, Angelina Jolie and Gisele Bundchen also earned a spot!
Forbes magazine describes their list as an “annual snapshot of women who impact the world.”
Rightfully so, the magazine congratulates celebrities who are ambassadors for meaningful causes or are owners of a thriving business. Those who met the criteria include Beyonce, Oprah, Lady Gaga, Shakira, Angelina Jolie, Gisele Bundchen, Sofia Vergara, Ellen DeGeneres and Jennifer Lopez!
Oprah, 58, owns Harpo Productions and founded The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa. Lady Gaga, 26, sings, tweets and founded The Born This Way Foundation. Beyonce, 30, runs her House of Dereon clothing line.
Congratulations to all who made the list — you’re truly making a difference in our world!
