Jef Holm’s Brother Confirms Emily Maynard Cheated On Jef Holm

In a turn of events, Jef’s brother reportedly outed Emily and went on the record to confirm Emily did in fact cheat on Jef! Read on for more details!

There’s something strange going on in Emily Maynard and Jef Holm‘s fantasy Bachelorette pad. It was reported on August 22 that the 26-year-old mom was sexting with an unidentified man, leading Jef to yell and curse at her in front of his family and seven-year-old Ricki.

And after Emily and Jef, 28, went on the record with PEOPLE later that day denying the report, Jef’s brother, Mike Holm, has now come forward confirming that the fight did, in fact, occur.

“I can tell you that it’s all 100% true. I was there and I heard the fight and watched the whole thing go down, Emily leaving and everything,” Mike told Us Weekly. “I love my brother very much and, like the rest of our family, I just want him to be happy.”

Mike went on to say that even though Emily cheated, the family still loves her.

“We all love Emily, too. Mistakes happen, we all get that,” he told the mag. “I hope they can work it all out, but as far as your story goes, it’s all true.”

Well, as far as their Twitter accounts go — everything is just fine.

“First day of first grade was a success. Met the Hendricks, nicest people ever. #greatday @emilyg @ School,” Jef tweeted on August 22 with a pic of the family.

Jef outted his brother as a liar in another interview. Shame that his brother seems to just want his name “in print” & is willing to hurt other people to get that.

yikes. i cannot imagine jef would come from a family of liars, so i believe the brother. he has no motive to lie. i doubt he got paid for that little quote, but even if he did, i really doubt he would lie. jef, on the other hand, has many reasons to lie. first, b/c he sounded like a total db for doing all of that in front of emily’s daughter. second, and most importantly, b/c i think he really does love her and understand that indulging such a story, true or not, would be very harmful to emily and her daughter. i think emily definitely took the safe route with jef. i didn’t really see sparks between them (on her side, at least)- more of a cozy safe romance. i don’t judge her for going the safe route, after what she’s been through, with a young daughter- but if she had more lusty feelings for someone else, that wouldn’t surprise me. she also seems to be someone who would need something on the back burner b/c she’s afraid this is going to fall through. for someone who comes across as so put together, i think actually she’s got a lot of growing (and possibly therapy) in her future. i wish the best for all of them.

if its true im shocked… if its just the tabloids being silly then wow. Either way i think he is way gorgeous… and women will be dying to get a piece of him
