The former lovers finally come together this Sunday — but will they be mourning a friend?
Regardless of how you’ve felt about True Blood‘s fifth season as a whole — it’s gotten mixed reviews, to put it nicely — it all comes to an end this Sunday. The Aug. 26 finale, “Save Yourself,” presents Bill (Stephen Moyer) fully wasted on his Authority power, while Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) find themselves in a very delicate position.
So what are Sookie and Eric so surprised to see? The return of an old enemy? The death of an old friend? Everyone’s life is on the line this week, as Russell and Bill continue to ravage Bon Temps in their separate-but-equal quests for power.
New photos also reveal Andy (Chris Bauer) having a tense chat with Holly (Lauren Bowles), presumably about Maurella’s fairy baby, while Nora (Lucy Griffiths) and Tara (Rutina Wesley) add their fangs to the fray.

I liked sookie and Eric together. And I can’t believe bill would turn on her like that. I reckon bill in season 6 will realise that he’s made a mistake and Lilith is way to strong and dangerous he might just end up helping anyway or die.
