Embarrassed by her behavior, Kristen Stewart can’t bear to face her ex-boyfriend Rob Pattinson.
Only last month, the idea of “happily ever after” seemed completely plausible for on-and-off screen couple, Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. But everything changed on July 17 after Kristen was caught in an illicit embrace with Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders.
Despite her pleas and public apologies, the 26-year-old Twilight actor has been unwilling to forgive Kristen’s infidelity. “She knows she screwed up everything,” a friend tells Star.
As the impact of her devious behavior continues to set in, Kristen has started pulling away from her promotional obligations because she’s terrified of facing Rob. “I don’t think Kristen had the stomach to be anywhere near Robert so soon after she tore his heart out,” reveals a friend. “She really hasn’t recovered from the shame she brought on herself and the realization of the pain she inflicted on the guy who was the love of her life.”
Fans had hoped the pair would be presenters at the 2012 Video Music Awards on Sept. 6, especially since Breaking Dawn Part 2 comes out this November, but Kristen claims she has a scheduling conflict. She’s also skipping upcoming Twilight fan conventions that she’s willingly attended in the past.
“I can’t really say I’m shocked that she would turn her back on appearing at the VMAs, even though it’s one of the biggest events for her main fan base,” echoes the friend. “I just can’t see any way she could face Robert — even if he was willing to put on a brave face and go on.”
As the U.S. premiere date of Breaking Dawn Part 2 approaches, Kristen may need to toughen up and learn how to face Rob. “The studio has invested million of dollars in this film, and there’s absolutely no way Kristen is going to get any leeway with promoting it alongside Robert,” explains an insider. “She’ll have to face the music — and him — sooner or later.”

i feel bad for Kristin but on the other side she deserves all of this. She shouldnt have done a one night stand with a guy who has his happy famiy. Now she has ruined twighlight for us,she has ruined a family and finally has lost the love of her life. Reply if you think this is true =)
Most of it it’s true, but don’t forget that Rupert is also to blame! Both Kristen and Rupert have done a mistake! and I don’t think Rob should forgive her!

I think Kristen is more afraid to face the Twi-hards. Alot of the fans have left Team Kristen for Team Robert. I wouldn’t be surprised if some boos are heard from the crowds when she appears. There could be a few negative signs that Summit’s PR people will have to destroy.

I can’t stand this much longer. Where is the heart? I know how Kristen feels, not being able to face her ex. Who knows what will happen? Good or Bad. I just hope this matter can be resolved.

Kristen is better off without Rob! I know it hurts now but he is a jerk! Yes, Kristen made a mistake but she swapped some spit – she didn’t have an affair. Yes, Rob was humiliated by the affair but Kristen is 22 and it’s obvious she was pressured into this fling by her older, married BOSS. If Rob loved her, really loved her, then he would be trying to work things out instead of just walking away the minute things got hard. I have news for you, Rob – Life is hard. Relationships can be challenging and they require work, committment and communication if you want them to last. Rob apparently isn’t interested in doing any of those three things which is why Kristen is better off without him. Real men don’t lead with ego and they are willing to put in the effort. Kristen needs to find a real man and women need to stop sticking up for Pattinson just because they love the character he plays in Twilight.

I don’t necessarily agree that Robert is a bad guy but its so true that life is hard. People make mistakes. Guaranteed if it was reverse and Rob cheated everyone would find a way to blame Kristen saying she didn’t do what was necessary to make him happy. Double standard. When famous married men cheat on their wives they don’t get the backlash that she has gotten. Its ridiculous!

Yes life is hard but lying, philandering partners only make it worse. Your take on relatiionships should be directed toward Kristen because she was the one that betrayed him not vice versa. I can only imagine what he would be called if he had cheated on Kristen. Since you brought up Kristen’s age (22), she needs to find herself (instead of finding a “real man”) because this is the second time she’s cheated in a relationship. Rob seems to be a gentleman & confirmed that he is by not trashing her in the 6 or 7 interviews he had last week. Good luck to both of them … Rob congrats on the busy film schedule later this year & next (Queen of the Desert, The Rover, Mission Blacklist)!

Rob cheated on her BF WITH Rob just so you know. Rob came to the US to meet Kristen and even told a reporter ” PIFF WHAT ABOUT THE BF” Rob new Kristen was dating MA YET that did not stop him from trying to date her and it is on video go check it out. He was Not sounding like a sweet guy then. Rob is no saint so stop with the gentleman because if he were a gentlemen he would not have gone after Kristen and said that about having a BF.

regarding the convention, neither rob kristen OR taylor were ever scheduled/contracted to be there and kristen is expected at TIFF around the time of the VMA’s (but of course you left that info out)
