Kristen Stewart Can’t Face Rob Pattinson After Affair — Report

Embarrassed by her behavior, Kristen Stewart can’t bear to face her ex-boyfriend Rob Pattinson.

Only last month, the idea of “happily ever after” seemed completely plausible for on-and-off screen couple, Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. But everything changed on July 17 after Kristen was caught in an illicit embrace with Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders.

Despite her pleas and public apologies, the 26-year-old Twilight actor has been unwilling to forgive Kristen’s infidelity. “She knows she screwed up everything,” a friend tells Star.

As the impact of her devious behavior continues to set in, Kristen has started pulling away from her promotional obligations because she’s terrified of facing Rob. “I don’t think Kristen had the stomach to be anywhere near Robert so soon after she tore his heart out,” reveals a friend. “She really hasn’t recovered from the shame she brought on herself and the realization of the pain she inflicted on the guy who was the love of her life.”

Fans had hoped the pair would be presenters at the 2012 Video Music Awards on Sept. 6, especially since Breaking Dawn Part 2 comes out this November, but Kristen claims she has a scheduling conflict. She’s also skipping upcoming Twilight fan conventions that she’s willingly attended in the past.

“I can’t really say I’m shocked that she would turn her back on appearing at the VMAs, even though it’s one of the biggest events for her main fan base,” echoes the friend. “I just can’t see any way she could face Robert — even if he was willing to put on a brave face and go on.”

As the U.S. premiere date of Breaking Dawn Part 2 approaches, Kristen may need to toughen up and learn how to face Rob. “The studio has invested million of dollars in this film, and there’s absolutely no way Kristen is going to get any leeway with promoting it alongside Robert,” explains an insider. “She’ll have to face the music — and him — sooner or later.”

HL why are you printing such crap. Why don’t you let this go. You know this is not true. Someone should sue your arses for the lies that you print. Rob is back with Kristen and he has been for a couple of weeks. He has said he has FORGIVEN HER AND HE WON’T LET HER GO BECAUSE HE STILL LOVES HER. REUNITED FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE SCANDAL. This has come from a very close friend of Rob 26. This friend is part of Rob’s camp. Rob manufactured a plan to keep the spotlight away. Leading everyone to believe he kicked Kristen out of their Los Feliz home, Rob knew he needed time alone with his girlfriend of 4 years to sort things out. “They’ve actualaly holed up at their Malibu Beach House. It’s been torture for Rob keeping it silent, especially because he’s getting bombarded with questions about Kristen’s cheating. Even David Cronenberg director of COSMOPOLIS has said that the situation is “not what it seems” between the pair. That’s because Kristen has been by Rob’s side all along. The couple have always been inseparable and the past few weeks have been no exception – says the friend. Kristen was actually in NY with him during his interviews last week. Which is why Rob was calm, relaxed and together. They arrived in a private plane together, and she hid in his hotel room during his public appearances, he knew she was there supporting him, and that made all the difference – says the friend.
Seeing his girlfriend torn apart by fans and the public is killing Rob – that’s why he is speaking out. Rob hates the way some people have turned on Kristen and the only way he knows how to fix it is to say he has forgiven her because he loves her.The British star is set to release an emotional statement in the coming weeks – announcing that he forgives and loves Kristen, AND THAT THEY HAVEN’T SPLIT. While Rob was hurt by her actions, he has NO INTENTIONS OF LETTING HER GO says the friend.
Rob now sees that they got too lazy and comfortable in their relationship and is using this as a huge wake up call. With the announcement that the pair are still very much together on the horizon, and in a bid too get back on track with KSTEW a revitalised Rob is putting more effort into his appearance and his fans like what they see the friend says.
I wonder if he will go with her to her OTR Red Carpet premier and stay in her hotel the way she did for him in NY. Will this be when he release his statement. I think it should be sooner rather than in the coming weeks. I Hope it is before BD2 so they can be together on the red carpet.

Be careful not to believe everything you read and hear guys. Even when statements supposedly come from ‘friends close to’ Rob and Kristen.

Summit execs are freaking out that box office sales for BD2 will drop and that it won’t be the big hit it’s supposed to be in the wake of this scandal and possible permanent split between Rob and Kristen.

I wouldn’t be surprised if these so-called ‘sources’ are calling different mags and making false statements to give Twihards hope so as not to affect profits.

This whole thing reeks of something fishy – from the very beginning of the scandal. Any way that Rob and Kristen choose to proceed other than breaking up will look sus. If they get back together and Rob professes he forgives Kristen and all is right with the world, everyone will be forced to ask whether it’s an act to keep Twihards happy and the money rolling into the franchise. Everyone will ask if he’s doing it to protect Kristen from all the hate thrown at her.

I truly hope they work it out. I’m sick of reading all the goss and all the emphasis people place on the publications as printing the truth. I read it to get a laugh and I always look at it extremely critically. I really don’t trust anything unless it’s a one on one interview – a video transcript or something. And even then, things are printed out of context.

My point – be careful of believing every single thing you read about these two. There’s bound to be people trying to make twihards happy and trying to print a story that’s ‘an exclusive’ when really it’s just twisted words.

And do you really think one of Robert’s friends will say anything about him or Kristen to the tabloid press? @jackie please just stop spreading more lies because Rob and Kristen are no longer together. Don’t make it too hard on yourself to accept that they are over as a couple. Rob’s friends have been silent throughout this and your claim that one of his friends spilled out all these so-called details is just pure lie. If Rob really wanted to calm the situation he would have done so already. But it looks like he has moved on with his life. So don’t keep any of robsten’s fans hopes high because it’s just cruel.

@jackie – don’t believe in everything you read because you know very well that nobody from robert’s camp or even any of us friends will give out details or information of what’s really going on. Do you really think that nobody saw Kristen getting off and on the plane with him or snuck into the mandarin ny hotel without one person seeing her? These are just more lies you’ve read so don’t break your heart more by hanging on to the fantasy that they’re back or will be back together because from what we’ve seen Rob clearly has moved on.
