It may still be up in the air whether Kanye West will join the American Idol judges panel next season, but you can add two more people to the list of people pushing for Kanye to get the job: AI host Ryan Seacrest and girlfriend Kim Kardashian‘s mom, Kris Jenner!
A Kardashian family friend tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Kris, 56 and ever the business woman, is pushing for Kanye, 35 to join the show because of what it could do for Kim, 31, and Kanye’s potential reality show! “Kris knows this would do wonders for Kim and Kayne’s new reality show and bring in the biggest ratings ever,” our source says. “Their reality show would be on a completely different level.”
It turns out that Kris is working hard with Ryan, 37 to seal the deal, since he produces all of the Kardashian family reality shows. “Kris has been working with Ryan Seacrest behind the scenes to make this happen,” our source says, revealing, “It was actually Ryan’s idea in the first place and he produces all the Kardashian shows for E! So if [Kanye] became a judge on American Idol, it would be a win-win for everyone!”

Kanye West is too self centered to be a good judge. He’ll try to make the show all about him and his girlfriend’s family. I certainly won’t watch a show with a bunch of attention grabbing judges.
