Nicki may definitely end up being a judge alongside Mariah Carey for the upcoming season of ‘American Idol’ — read on for all the exclusive details!
Nicki Minaj may have just landed the ultimate job: American Idol judge. HollywoodLife.com has spoken to a source who says the 29-year-old rapper is reportedly going to be a judge on the reality competition show. Do you think she’s a good choice?
“Nicki really has a great chance to become the newest judge on Idol but Nick Jonas and Pharrel Williams are still not out of the running,” a source tells us. “No decision has been officially made on who will take the other seat. But an announcement is looming.”
But FOX is reportedly a little hesistant to go with Nicki because of how she portrays herself on Twitter because they’re worried about the image she may give off to younger viewers.
“They are horrified with how she presents herself on Twitter, recently telling fans to #EatSh*tAndDie and #Killyaf**ckingself,” the source says. “She would have to change up her act and reassure those executives before they sign off on her to be part of the show.”
Nicki would join the ranks of Paula Abdul, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Ellen DeGeneres.
