If Kristen wants to win Rob back, she should continue to show him her vulnerabilities following her cheating scandal. Read on to find out why I think so!

When Kristen Stewart cheated on Robert Pattinson with director Rupert Sanders, she not only broke his heart, and his trust, but she stripped him of any control he had over his love life. Her actions rendered him powerless, which is why if she truly wants to win him back, she needs to show him that she, too, is vulnerable in this situation.

Kristen Stewart’s Public Apology

Kristen’s public apology on July 25, the day after her affair with Rupert was revealed to the world, was a good start. She showed Rob that she was willing to tarnish her public image, willing to risk losing her fan base, in order to apologize to him. It was an incredibly selfless move.

While mostly staying out of the public eye after her apology, there were reports that Kristen, 22, had been sending Rob, 26, handwritten notes begging for his forgiveness. Again, another instance of her showing him that she’s lacking in power.

Kristen was finally spotted out in public on Monday, Aug. 20, caught in a series of photographs that, perhaps, revealed her vulnerability the greatest. Paparazzi caught the Twilight actress not only wearing the gold ring Rob gave her, but his Baltimore Orioles hat, as well. Wearing these items, she’s expressing to Rob that he’s still a part of her and that she needs him.

The bottom line is this: Kristen stripped Rob of power. She has to realize that, in order to even have a chance at a reconciliation, she must prove to him that she’s aware of this. She must prove to him that she’s allowing him to be the one to be in control of what happens next, and she must be willing to accept whatever decision he inevitably makes. She owes him that much, at least.

So Summit Entertainment is giving “exclusives” to Hollywood Life now? Ummm…yeah right. Rob’s not interested in talking to Kristen? Is that why they’ve been texting and skyping since the 2nd week apart, she had his dog last weekend while he was promoting in NYC, they’ve been talking since he got back and she’s was wearing one of his hats and the ring/bracelet he gave her only 2 days ago? I don’t think so HL. You are FOS as usual. Word is he’s already forgiven her and they’re working things out. I’m sure you won’t bring up any of the past lies you’ve been telling when they are still together after all this dies down, though will you? It may have been an selfless act but seeing how there has been reacted on it , it would have been better for her and rob if she didden`t made an public appologie , and had just let the world wonder if those pictures were real or not

Agreed, Kristen fanned the flames with that apology, so many were crying foul and photoshop. If she had just kept quite it would have left everyone to wonder.(Then again the pictures are pretty clear, hard to refute them). I seriously think her PR people thought a quick apology was the way to go for damage control, it backfired spectacularly.

Kristen didn’t realise what she had until she lost Rob someone who was always there for her .If Rob thinks takuing on Publitist having a make over and partying up with JACK I mean Leo is going to make all this go away it won’t he has lost the girl he wanted for his wife and to start a family with. What ever function he attends he won’t be able to not look for her and at the back of his mind wonder if I had done that differently.Is he now going to take on Parts with no leading lady love interests and go all masculine? I hate to break it to everyone, but by Kristen wearing his hat and ring on her first public outing was very planned. After Robert wrapped his opening weekend for his movie and press, Kristen decides to come out of hiding, wearing his hat and ring he gave her. The Twilight cast was slapped with a gag order, Kristen and Robert will not be able to talk about their relationship publicly even if they wanted too. After this last week, Kristen was called out by interviewers and Robert was unable to comment on the issue.
Kristen wore Robert’s hat and his gifted ring as a public statement. This was no, I am sorry I hurt you, and that we are broken up, this was letting the public know, that they are still together. If they had ended it for good, she would have not gone out in public the way she was dressed, she would have been dressed like a knockout to put on a show for Robert to see her. If they were broken up, she wouldn’t have been able to wear those items out after a month of being so “devastated”.
So thank Kristen for letting the public know, that they are still in a relationship. Her outing was just for that purpose.

PS. a source close to summit said robert is no longer interested in talking with kristen, that can’t be true, since there is a gag order.

Actually only thier Twilight cast mates were gag ordered to keep from speaking about the affair. Rob could have answered questions during the press for Cosmopolis if he wanted, Summit just didn’t want the cast taking sides or commenting publicly on a matter that concerns Rob and Kristen. A “source” at Summit has stated that Rob refuses to speak to Kristen and that Rob and Kristen will not be in the same room at the same time to do press for the movie . In fact they are taking it so far as to not even have times overlap so that Rob and Kristen don’t run into one another, apparently it’s turning into quite the logistical nightmare for the PR department, if this source is to be believed but its not the first time I’ve heard this so…Time will tell whether Rob and Kristen will recocile but right now all signs point to no. Since Kristen was wearing one of Rob’s hats and the ring at the time of the affair, I certainly don’t think she’d have a problem wearing them in the midst if her so called “devastation”.

No way. I work in the entertainment industry. If the studio bosses wants them to promote the movie together they def will make them. They know their first appearance together is going to make BD2 even bigger and they’re not going to miss out on that opportunity, you can bet on that for sure.

anonymous your right about the fact that the bosses could force Robert and Kristen to promote BD2 together, however it was my understanding that they were being considerate enough of both actors to not force the issue at this time. It would be very awkward and not just for Rob and Kristen, thier co-stars as well, most of whom are supposedly on Robs side. Sources say Summit is tracking the progress of Cosmopolis (and I’m betting On the Road when its released) to determine the effects of the scandal, if any, on the box office and fan reception for the actors, I’m guessing these factors will help determine how they promote BD2, but since they’ve bailed on the tentatively schedualed MTV VMA’s it seems like Summit is not forcing Rob and Kristen to work together at this time.

As for the apology well most sources including HL have stated that Rob was pretty upset with Kristen for going public with the juvinille, half a**ed apology, so I don’t know how well that worked. Bottom Line Kristen and the director betrayed the trust and love of thier significant others. There is no defence, it happend, there are pictures, they admitted it, period. Whatever fall out or consequenses the two cheaters have to face they are a direct result of thier own actions, no one elses. Unlike Rob and Liberty that are now facing the media and dealing with the fallout for what others did to them, see the difference. No matter how “vulnerable” Kristen may be, it might not be enough. Actions have consequenses and just because your sorry after you get caught doesn’t make everything alright. The man who cheats on his wife may loose her, the college student who cheats on an exam, gets kicked out of school, the teen who shoplifts, may do time or community service, they maybe sorry after the fact but that doesn’t make it excusable. You play with fire you will get burned. Ultimately its Rob’s choice but if he chooses to walk away from Kristen I don’t think he deserves to be villified as an unfeeling bastard, sometimes the pain inflicted is too great to risk heartbreak again. In time he may and should forgive Kristen but he doesn’t have to (and shouldn’t in my opinion) take her back. If Kristen is truly sorry (which I am not convinced of, I’m one of the ones who believe this had been going on for a while) well, live and learn and maybe next time she will appreciate what she has from the start. Just don’t force the issue…let Rob has his time. If Kristen can’t wait for him…move on! Probably the best solution is to be apart from each other and see how it goes…this is definitely one of the consequences of cheating when you’re a ‘hot’ celebrity! In a normal setting people can’t live with each other due to the broken trust ..how diff for celebrity they are human after all! Anyway I hope Rob will give air time to Kstew and if after that they decide to call it quits I believe we need to respect that. Peeps we need to move on too!

I’m not sure how much of this IF any the celebities read or pay attention to, but IF Rob should see this, I want to ask him to please at least if nothing else ask fans and the haters to stop calling Kristen the awful names and stop wishing for her death. I don’t think she deserves to be bashed like she has been. RUPERT needs to be a man and step up and take his share of the blame.

IF Rob should see this by some miracle, ask yourself even if you are done with the relationship how would you feel if something happened to Kristen during all this? How would feel knowing you could have at the very least said to the fans and haters knock it off and just leave her alone and you didn’t.

Um, Kristen brought that “heat” on herself. Rob didn’t cheat,Kristen did. To my knowledge Kristen has lost one movie and she bailed of her own free will, meanwhile she has since signed to do another. Whatever Kristen is dealing with she alone is responsible, it was her choice to hook up with the director. Whatever fallout the director faces, again his actions,no one elses. Audry and Co., Robert had done a little movie called Harry Potter before Twilight, at the time Cedric Diggory was a highly coveted role. As for Kristen making him a star well yes after the screen test she expressed that he was her chioce but she was already signed to do the movie and did not have the clout at that time to say hire him or I’m not doing the movie, she was already tied to the contract. Kristen wasn’t just given the role of Bella, she wasn’t that established yet, she had to audition for it, Ashley Green (Alice Cullen) was one of the ones she beat out for the role. Ultimately it was Hardwicke and Stephanie Meyer who “stumped” for Robert to get the role because they agreed his screen test was the best and he looked the part.
