Kanye West has joined the long list of musicians who are being considered for a vacant judge position on American Idol, as TMZ first reported. A source close tells us that he and girlfriend Kim Kardashian are excited about the possibility.
A source close to Kanye, 35, tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “It’s [going to] happen man – Kanye wants to do [American Idol] and Kim want [him] to do it, too.” “[It isn't] final though, but he [wants] to do it badly and Kim [wants] him to do it, and whatever [she wants,] she gets. So watch out…[Kim's] excited though…and [she's] pushing [Kanye] hard to do the [show.] And you know [she's going to] be there with [him] if [it goes] right.” our source says.
As for what we could expect out of Kanye as an AI judge, our source tells us, “[He's going to] blow [American Idol] up this year, feel me? [He's going to] come with it and people will love him.” “He [isn't] trying to diss [anybody,] but everybody [knows he's going to] bring the house down once they finalize s***.”
