'Teen Mom' Preview: Amber Forced To Leave Leah With Gary Overnight

Amber just wants to stay the night with her daughter Leah, but child services is forcing her little girl to stay nights with dad Gary Shirley! Check out the emotional clip from tonight’s episode!

With only two episodes left with the original Teen Mom cast, tonight’s episode promises to be full of tears. Amber Portwood is excited to pick up Leah from her first day of preschool and spend a few hours of quality time.

But the mother-daughter bonding is cut short when Amber has to take Leah back to dad Gary Shirley‘s house. Because Amber’s house was vandalized, Child Protective Services doesn’t think her home is a safe place for Leah to stay overnight.

When Amber is forced to leave her daughter, Leah throws a tantrum — and Amber gets just as upset.

WOW When i see i see a child kicking and screaming i just wanna go up to them and hug em and give em everything they want its obvious that Leah knows whats going on between them to me it seems like she is a fit mom but needs to get angry straight and priorities

I think that Leah is better off with her Dad Gary . This poor baby has been a witness to Domestic violence . It’s wrong to do this to a child . A mother to beat on him . She needs more than therapy .She (Amber ) needs to walk away when she angry . Amber needs a lot of treatment .

They are too young to be parents and it’s tragic,especially for Leah BUT Leah is a reality so they must deal while getting help and counseling. Sadly Amber has an addictive personality which is in part to her being bi-polar disorder. She is trying to make strides but with any personality disorder (mental illness) you also have setbacks. She wasn’t given the life skills growing up so she’s trying to RE learn life skills. Hopefully this family will have success to overcome all of the tragic dysfunctional habits.

When the little girl told her mom I quote “I need you” oh that was heart breaking. That mom need to stop screaming and yelling and get her stuff together, and get her baby.

I think leah should be taken away and adopted by fit parents, she have a better life. This is an unstable situation. Gary evenn said on tv he hopes amber gets back soon so he doesnt have leah all the time. When leah was first born amber ranted on about how she didnt want her.

I’m going to miss these girls so much (except Farrah). Amber….I wish you good luck.

That isn’t a tantrum, it’s trauma. If they are saying Ambers house is unsafe, why can’t she have her someplace else such as maybe at a relatives house, or at Gary’s if he,s out of town. Or why can’t MTV provide security since the filming is responsible for the vandalism. I have to hope CPS has a better reason that isn’t being aired for the removal.
