Rob and Kristen will NOT be at the final ‘Twilight’ convention, and a source close to Summit Entertainment tells HollywoodLife.com that the movie company will not try and force them to attend! Read on for the details.

The Twilight Saga Official Convention recently updated their events for the upcoming The Final Journey, and reported that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will NOT be at the convention this year. We found out why!

While many fans are wondering if Rob and Kristen’s absence is due to their recent relationship trouble, a source close to the actors tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “they were never supposed to attend.”

Furthermore, a source close to the situation says, “[film studio] Summit Entertainment will in no way ask or force Rob and Kristen to attend, as they are not contractually obligated whatsoever to attend the convention.”

The statements on the convention’s website says, “Although Rob, Kristen and Taylor will not be with us this time out we will have a super line-up of other Twilight stars and the weekend will be filled with special events, movie prop and costume displays, contests, panels, auctions, parties, exclusive merchandise, music and much more, including some surprises!”

Whether or not Rob and Kristen were not invited, we definitely think they SHOULD go!

Please end the suffering for each other. Forgive Kristen. You are both so young. It is hard to be old and married when you are not. Kristen is a very feeling person. She is young and vulnerabel. She is so worthwhile and obviously has so much love to give. Don’t think she is completely in control. She is worth waiting for. Please give her time to mature, she will and she will be worth the wait. Kristen is the poster child for parent’s worries. You can look at her and tell she is to do just what she wants to do. At the same time, she is dedicated to Rob. She just has to grow. I believe she will be a one man woman, very soon if not already.

Its their movie, they should be there. If they cant go and meet fans then maybe fans should not bother to go see thier movie. Snobs!

they shouldnt have to go yes it is their movie but maybe they dont want to deal with fans choosing sides and asking guestions about it they both dont need that and if because of this fans dont want to see the second half of their movie it is their busness but how would you like if you wore in the same situation and everyone is expecting you to go to a party or something that your ex is going or expected to attend. i think everyone should stop judging them all and if they did that maybe rob and kristan would have attended.

I am unsure what to believe? That Robert, Kristen, and Taylor were “never” supposed to attend “The Final Journey” event for the Creative Entertainment Twilight franchise. Or, pease note the storyline heading above states: “Summit Entertainment tells HollywoodLife the movie company will not try and force them to attend.” So which one is it? Yawn people…Rob has moved on from Queen of SKANKS…why can’t all of you? I mean he FINALLY saw her as the dirty greaser and wasn’t blinded by love any more….. Maybe K-SCREW could still go though and take SCREW-PERT as her date!!!! Rob will have definitely moved on by the final Twilight premiere and the SKANK and adulterer can go on a date together!!!!!!!!

Not sure how you can call this an “exclusive” when Gossip Cop published this story a good hour before you — all after your boss Jay Penske promised us that you would stop stealing our stories.
