Rob and Kristen will NOT be at the final ‘Twilight’ convention on November 3-4, but I think they NEED to go! Find out why!
The Twilight Saga Official Convention recently updated their events for the upcoming The Final Journey, and reported that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart will NOT be at the convention this year in Burbank, CA on November 3-4. This is a huge punch in the gut for Twi-hards!
Part of the release states, “Although Rob, Kristen and Taylor will not be with us this time out we will have a super line-up of other Twilight stars and the weekend will be filled with special events, movie prop and costume displays, contests, panels, auctions, parties, exclusive merchandise, music and much more, including some surprises!”
Enough is enough already! I understand that Kristen cheated on Rob, but the fans don’t deserve to feel the repercussions of Kristen’s “momentary indiscretion.” Sure, I certainly feel bad for the pain that Kristen and Rob are presumably going through, but that doesn’t mean the fans should miss out on such an exciting event in their lives.
Even actor D.B. Sweeney finds the cheating scandal comical at this point!
This is the FINAL installment of The Twilight Saga. Fans will NEVER get an experience like this again — not with Rob and Kristen together as Edward and Bella.
Plus, the convention is planned for November 3-4 — more than three months after Kristen’s affair with Rupert Sanders erupted! Hasn’t anyone heard the saying “time heals all wounds?”
Rob and Kristen are well into their 20′s. It’s time they put their personal matters aside and put on their brave faces for the fans! It’s the mature thing to do — it’s the RIGHT thing to do!
News of their absence comes as a shock because Rob recently revealed that he’s looking forward to “reliving” Twilight through the final film’s promotional appearances — despite Kristen’s cheating scandal.
If Rob and Kristen do not go to the Twilight convention, they will certainly lose an amount of respect from their fans — including me. This is a HUGE disappointment and definitely an insult to those who have stayed dedicated throughout the entire saga!

I go to this convention every year and the big stars are not announced until a few days before the event. This is not unusual.
