After a fight with their caregiver, two young boys in Washington ran away from home on August 15. The boys have yet to return home — how awful.
Zabian Welcome, 9, and Jeffrey Zupan, 11, were last seen around 5 PM on August 15 when they ran away from their home in Tacoma, Washington.
According to police, the boys were under the care of their aunt and fled after an alleged altercation. Police kicked off an official police search around 8pm on August 16.
Zabian’s father, John Welcome, told Q13 Fox News that Zabian has run away before but has never been missing for this long.
“[Zabian’s aunt] always kept a very close eye on him and he was always in the yard. Something is up, because he would always come back,” Neighbor Britni Benavidez told The News Tribune.
Police are concerned that the boys have no access to food or water. Police told Q13 Fox News they want to “get them back, get them reunited and get this thing taken care of.”
Zabian is 4′ 9″, 85 lbs, and has light brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a brightly colored shirt, khaki shorts, and black hightop sneakers.
Jeffery is 4′ 1″, 75lbs, and has blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing dark blue shorts.
Anyone who knows anything should contact the Tacoma Police or 1-253-798-4722.
