Robert Pattinson ‘Stuck In A Rut’ After ‘Twilight’

Rob still doesn’t see himself as an actor, but according to a recent interview, signing on for ‘Cosmopolis’ pulled him out a rut brought on by ‘Twilight.’ Read on for all the details!

Robert Pattinson reportedly finds the idea of being an actor unsettling, but as he takes on more and more roles, Rob is becoming a bit more comfortable with the idea. In fact, Rob felt “stuck in a rut” after Twilight and is happy to be moving on with his career and expanding his creative experiences.

“As soon as you start existing in a certain world, you feel like you have tremendous amount of baggage all the time,” Rob says. “You get stuck in this rut where you want people to think you’re something else, but you’re too scared to do what that is to actually be the other person.”

Rob certainly took that leap with his new role in Cosmopolis. Rob let go of his self-awareness, worry, and fear by taking on a role completely outside of what his fans would expect.

Rob would never have done COSMOPOLIS if KStew had pushed him to do it. She read the script when he recieved it and told him he should do it and he would be great in it. So he needs to thank KSTEW. He also said that when they Both were in CANNES she was sitting in front of him during the movie and all he was thinking was what is she thinking about it. He could only see the back of her head during the whole film and when it finished she turned around gave him a big smil and told him it was fantastic. She has always been there to help him in his career. Yes he would have been nothing if KSTEW didn’t insist that he play Edward Cullen in TWILIGHT. She also told Catherine Hardwicke if Rob didn’t play Edward she would not play Bella. She thought Rob was perfect for Edward. He really needs to thing about this. There were pictures of him and other women he got caught out with by the Paps he was out with them until early hours of morning, when KSTEW was away filming or doing photo shoots in another country. She was always the one to go running to him to find out what was going on. No-one knows what happened after Rob and his many women drove off the paps did not follow him. So who knows what happened only him and the women. Sarah Gadon said she thought her and Rob had a connection but he led her on. What about Ashley Greene BD1 in a hotel room in Paris with Rob. When KSTEW caught up with him in London he told her it was nothing and it never happened. But I think he knew better. Also ashley was trying to hook-up with him early this year and when kristen answered Rob’s phone she hung up. Kristen recognised the number and she rang Ashley back and told her to leave Rob alone he was hers. Ashley did not like that. Also according to his friends because Rob was never lucky with girls before he became famous he was now playing it to the fullest. What kind of boyfriend does that. Didn’t Kristen run to him when she saw the pictures of him and Caitlin Cronenberg. Caitlin was always hanging around the set everyday according to her because she was a photographer her fatjer asked her to do some photos. But she was always spending her time with Rob between scenes and when he had finished shooting for the day. They were seen together all the time until early hours of the morning.What about the Blonde in Berlin when he was promoting BD1. He met er at Bar 1000 and they left togehter in the early morning. But than obviously kristen must have said something to him about leaving and he begged her not to leave him. He said she was everything to him and he couldn’t live without her. He RAN OUT ON HER WHEN THE GOING GOT TOUGH INSTEAD OF STAYING AND TALKING THINGS THROUGH. ROB IS A COWARD. I love both of them but he is acting like a spoilt petulant brat and needs to get off his high horse and talk to her and stop acting like the jerk that he is. There is a line in a book I read it says “I am in awe of you (Rob was/is) I want you (yes he still wants her) The thought of anyone else having you is like a knife twisting deep in my soul(this will happen if he lets kristen go). He will regret it. He needs to make a decision sooner rather than later.

@ Get a grip…. I have a firm grip on reality. Your God Rob treated Kristen like a doormat for 4 very long years. People actually called her that. She kept forgiving him over and over again. The whole world can’t be wrong. Does these names ring a bell: Sarah Roemer, Caitlin Cronenburg, Enily De Ravin, Leigton Meester, Lindsey Lohan, Katy Perry, Ashley Greene any other one night stands. Yeah, yeah I know they are just FRIENDS, with over active vaginas. He was always with these friends when Kristen was not around. A man in love does not disrespect his girlfriend like this. Oh well it’s over so he thinks. Pics or it didn’t happen WRONG. There were no pics of Tiger Woods trysts, but even better, the actual women came out one at a time. Times are hard and it will happen. It’s just a matter as to who will be first. Thank God Kristen doesn’t have to be bothered with new saintly manho anymore. You can keep your cowardess pretty boy.

@janice, oh come on, KSlut worshipper, you’re as bad as the gossip sites you so called hate. One minute you say you don’t believe all what you read and then you write a long, drivelling statement saying about all the women Rob has been sleeping with over he years when there has been no proof at all, only idle gossip. KSlut was photographed for over 2 hours being dry humped by a married man and you still hero worship the tramp and try to drag Robs name way down to KSluts level. I feel so sorry for you that your life is so sad that you feel obliged to feel that way. I could list here a few co-stars that the tramp has been linked to, but I don’t need to now as we all know what she is.

I totally agree hel. I would rather date an ugly man who treats me like a queen, than a handsome man like Rob who treated Kristen like dirt. I don’t think that Kristen is depressed anymore, but just crushed and exhausted, from begging for forgiveness that will never happen. She is accepting that Rob never loved her, and used her. When she comes out, she will start healing and become a stronger person. Trust me, she will not want to be within 20 feet of Rob. Rob got a small dose of his own cheating medicine. However, that big closet of skeletons that he def. has will be pulled open by the one and only Kstew after BD2. She has the proof. Enjoy while you can Robbie Boy.

@janice, so the fact that KSlut has very publicly cheated on Rob to the world means he is treating her like dirt because he will not talk to her? And because he will not talk to her after that very public humiliation of sleeping with a married man, he never loved her and used her? What world do you come from? I swear all of the idiots that have made KSlut their hero, I’ll hate to live their life. They are going to be doormats all their lives when their partner/husband/wife cheats they will just say “it was mistake, I’ll take you back so you can cheat again and again and it will always just be a mistake!”. My god, get a grip people, missing the bus, forgetting to turn something off or sending a text to the wrong person is a mistake, not sleeping with your friends husband!

He look good but not impressed on quality.If my man will leave me for a mistake like that to fight on my own with whole world than he can very well walk away .i won’t want him back.so not impressed with his way of dealing with her affair and too coward for my taste.he was using kirsten image now he has it on his own.he is the victim and don’t need kirsten anymore.he is making money in her pain .he is not the victim he is the player and he just got the taste of his own image.he won’take her back.cos never trully loved her.but he is a good actor as he full the majority.

Cosmopolis was amazing :) and i agree, he sometimes plays it too safe. Sometimes its good to go out your comfort zone. I really liked the movie.
