Kristen is afraid to face questions regarding her recent indiscretion and wants to stay in hiding, according to a new report! Read on for the details.
Kristen Stewart hasn’t made a single public appearance since news broke that she had cheated on Robert Pattinson with director Rupert Sanders, and she wants to keep it that way, according to a new report.
Radar Online write that a source close to Kristen, 22, has told them, “Kristen has been hiding ever since the story of her affair with Rupert broke – and she doesn’t plan on breaking that habit just yet.” “Unlike Rob, who faced the music and threw himself into promoting his new movie Cosmopolis, Kristen isn’t comfortable with facing a barrage of questions about the cheating scandal,” their source continues.
The report alleges that Kristen’s friends have encouraged her to do some press, just to get the scary first time out of the way, but Kristen won’t budge. “Her pals have urged her to follow Robert’s lead and do some interviews for On The Road – just to get it over and done with. The sooner she faces the music, the quicker it will all end and the media glare will fall on someone else. However, Kristen is scared. The backlash from her Twilight fans has upset her – she’s lost and doesn’t know what to do,” their source says.
As we exclusively reported earlier, a source at Summit Entertainment told HollywoodLife.com, “She has been sulking and moping and it will for sure be harder for her to get back out there in the limelight then what we have seen with Robert, who obviously has been seen snapping back into it and facing the media and being seen out. [Kristen] isn’t enjoying the ridicule at all, she is taking it hard and doesn’t look forward to her first few media appearances.”
Kristen’s first public appearance may be a special presentation screening of On The Road at the Toronto Film Festival in September. We hope she’s over her fears by then.

I think kristen is staying out of the public eye because she has realized what a huge huge mistake she has made and how much she really loves Rob. She may be concentrating on fixing thing with him, I really don’t think she gives a crap about the media at all.
