Britney claims to give ‘subtle’ criticism, but she goes H.A.M. on a singer in this new video, asking him, ‘Who let you on stage?’
Is Britney Spears officially dethroning Simon Cowell as the meanest judge on The X Factor panel? Fox just released another new behind-the-scenes look at the show’s upcoming second season, and it features a moment of brutal honesty between Britney and one of the contestants. “I want to know who let you on stage,” she asks, drawing a ‘surprised Muppet’ face from Simon.
The new promo also gives us an idea of what Demi Lovato will be like as a judge — and she seems a whole lot nicer than Brit. ”Wow, I got the chills several times while you were singing,” she tells one singer.

This is quite the promo video, I like the idea of having pop stars as judges, especially when contestants are singing some of these judges songs! I imagine this can make the criticism even tougher, when it’s your own song. I can’t tell if Brittney or Demi are my favorite judge. I think they’ll both add some diverse feedback. I can’t wait to watch this season, this show always gives me and my Dish coworkers a lot to talk about. This is why I’m glad I have the Hopper. I love that this DVR automatically records prime time programming on major networks, with the Prime Time Anytime feature. It’s really convenient not having to set up timers.
