Joe tells HollywoodLife.com about reuniting with his brothers: ‘It’s the best music we’ve done yet!’
As a judge on The CW’s The Next (premiering at 9 p.m. tonight on The CW) Joe Jonas is searching for music’s next big thing — but that doesn’t mean he’s not also busy in the studio discovering new music with brothers Nick and Kevin! ”The last two or three months have been going incredibly,” Joe told HollywoodLife.com exclusively Aug. 15 while promoting The Next. “I think it’s [the Jonas Brothers'] best album yet! It’s the best music we’ve done yet.”
But don’t expect to hear the JoBros’ new album right away; Joe told us they’re taking their time with this one.
“It’s the first time we’re the bosses of our own and we get to say what and how we want things to happen,” Joe explained. “It’s very exciting to be able to say ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ to things and decide what we want to do.”
Joe’s schedule is obviously pretty tight at the moment, but he told us he’d like to get into acting when he has the time — and he’s even got a type of role in mind!
“I would love to make something heartfelt, but at the same time, I’m a sucker for action films,” Joe said. “And those are the biggest movies these days. To be able to play a bad guy, and then in the next film be the guy who is confused and sad — those are the different roles I’d like to do.”
Hmm… a new Batman perhaps? Joe said that would be “awesome.”
