Jennifer Lawrence allegedly took a personal jab at Kristen Stewart when she declared that she’d never cheat on her actor boyfriend Nicholas Hoult even though directors have shown interest in her in the past, according to a new report.
“Jennifer has a healthy rivalry with Kristen, but she thinks that the cheating scandal she got caught up in could have been avoided,” a source close to Jennifer revealed to Radar Online.
Kristen cheated on boyfriend Robert Pattinson with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.
“Recently, although she didn’t say Kristen’s name directly, she couldn’t resist having a subtle dig at her rival. She told a group of friends that she would never two-time Nicholas. Jennifer then went on to say that she has received attention from many older men, especially powerful movie directors in the past, and would never want to jeopardize her career by getting involved with a married man. She was clearly referring to Kristen’s liaison with Rupert,” the source said.
Kristen allegedly beat out Jennifer for the lead role in Lie Down In Darkness, Kristen’s first role since her affair with Rupert Sanders became public.
“Kristen is obviously down about what happened with her and Robert Pattinson, but she was thrilled when she found out she beat Jennifer Lawrence to a movie role,” a source told Radar Online.
“She is insanely jealous of Jennifer, not just because she feels The Hunger Games has stolen some of Twilight’s thunder, but because everyone was talking about her as such a beautiful actress. Kristen has never been comfortable in her own skin and feels threatened by Jennifer’s good looks. And the thing with Jennifer is, she isn’t just attractive, she’s a talented actor. Jennifer’s a threat to Kristen, she’s only a year younger, so chances are they will continue to battle it out for the same movie roles,” the source adds.

Let’s see. An online magazine cites some unnamed “source” who allegedly overheard a private conversation between Lawrence and her friends. And people are actually buying that? I guess there is a sucker born every minute. Do these mysterious sources that are magically privy to celebrities’ private reactions and conversations get together and socialize?
All that said, I’m certain that Stewart would be the first to agree that it was foolish to get involved with her married director. It’s one of the oldest cliches in Hollywood.

I like both of them. I’m a huge fan of Kristen but think Jenn’s pretty cool as well. Kristen fans don’t need to hate Jennifer. Jennifer fans don’t need to hate Kristen. IT’S NOT A COMPETITION. They’re actors who are doing what they love to do. That’s it.
