Robert Pattinson: What I Want Fans To Know After Kristen Stewart’s Affair

‘GMA’ host George Stephanopoulos put R-Patz in the hot seat on ‘Good Morning America’ and he even asked what he wants FANS to know about K-Stew’s affair! Read on to find out what he said!

Robert Pattinson had a message for fans during his Good Morning America interview on Aug. 15. Before talking about Cosmopolis, George Stephanopoulos gave the 26-year-old Twilight star an opportunity to tell Twi-hards what he wants them to know about what’s going on in his life right now.

“They seem pretty excited about kind of whatever,” a visibly nervous Rob told George. “You can kind of be like …I’d like my fans to know that Cinnamon Toast Crunch only has 30 calories [from fat] per bowl, for instance. Everything that comes out of my mouth is irrelevant.”

Rob seemed pretty nervous the entire time during the interview. During George’s first question, Rob didn’t even look him in the eye as he nervously sipped from his mug. He went on to say that he’s not interested in talking about it — plain and simple!

“It’s a different thing. You get into it [fame] to try to sell movies. I’ve never been interested in trying to sell my personal life. That’s really the only reason people bring it up,” Rob said.

So, if we’re hearing this correctly, Rob is sending a pretty clear message that he doesn’t want to talk about Kristen Stewart’s affair.

If Kristen Stewart even entertains the notion of taking Rob back, I will be HUGELY disappointed !! She is ruining HIS career ?? What a joke, he was Cedric Diggery before Kristen insisted he be cast as Edward Cullen, over Shiloh, who was Stephanie Meyers choice. If it weren’t for Kristen , He wouldn’t have a career !!! And I think he is a complete loser, JERK, for letting her take all of this unneeded criticism while he attempts to promote his horrible film, “Cosmopolis “” !!! I absolutely do not believe there was an affair, and I hope he does go back to England…forever, she will be a tremendous success on her own !!! What a DUD !@!!!!

Ok Kristen has not broken up a family in fact Liberty and Rupert are in counselling to salvage their marriage. Liberty has said she will fight to save her marriage. So Kristen is the only one taking the heat. Rob needs to get on with his decision making sooner rather than later. He can’t deny he hasn’t got feelings for Kristen. He looked lost on the Red Carpet for COSMOPOLIS like he had forgotten something. He was asked to appear on the JS show, GMA and MTV interviews not because of his movie but because they are all interested in his private life and they were hoping he would spill his guts which he didn’t. Good on him. Rob needs to be the bigger person in this. Yes he stills love Kristen but it is rude to keep her dangling.

jackie, you are an idiot. didnt break up a marriage? well, if you have to fight to salvage a marriage after a cheating “scandal” it is definitely an issue. and im pretty sure rupert is taking the “heat” to as you put it, but if kristen loved rob she wouldnt have done it anyways. he can do better, move on to someone more worthy who will not wear your clothing while she is messing around with another man.

IMO, by being quiet about the situation, he is sending a message that says “leave us alone”.

The last tiem Rob and Kristen were seen in public was at the teen choice awards right? This scandal just happened to land in the public
‘s lap right as both of them have a long break with no work obligations until now? The last couple of weeks have been the most private they’ve had in 4 years. Me thinks there’s more here than meets the eye.

He handled himself exactly the way he always has, his private life is just that “private.” Kudos to him, I respect him even more than I already did. I hope the media will respect Kristen if she decides to do the same whenever she steps back into the public. As much as we all want to know the gory details in how they feel or what is going on now, we must remember this is not roles they are playing but their actual, real, personal lives.

Yeah. I agree with Dawn…
I mean I like him, and don’t mean to sound rude…. but it’s starting to get a little tiring.

Most celebs do “damage control” and clear rumors up.

He is just saying, “Don’t listen to rumors.”
Rumor 1: They are broken up.
Rumor 2: They are still together.

There are soooo many rumors/lies, and will continue to be more since no one wants to clear things up.
I know they don’t really owe us any explanation, but they are just going to keep the rumors about themselves going stronger, and longer.

I wish Rob and Kristen the best, and I wish Rupert and Liberty the best.

Yes Rob did send a very clear message this morning. Cinnamon Toast Crunch only has 30 calories. Apparently all we fans are to him are roller coaster cars filled with cereal. who have we been adoring for the past 4 years? I don’t know anymore. I know I’m not the only one who feels this way. Instead of saying some nice words to us he counts calories? This whole situation is becoming a joke.

You say you have followed him for 4 years right? Then you must know that he always deflects with humor when he is nervous. He was thanking his fans for being there at the premiere on Monday. This is a hard time for him and he just tries to stay true to himself. And as a fan you should go easy on him. He always apreciated the fans and went out of his way to accomodate them. Give him a break.

#, you do have a good point and he does use humor when he’s nervous. I’m one of the lucky few fans that has been able to enjoy the twilight films with my hubby. We’ve had fun following the movies. For some fans twilight has been their entire life for the past 4 years and they’re the ones I’m worried about. I really wanted him to say something to help those fans have some peace of mind. I had heard that a lot of fan sites have shut down since the scandal broke. It’s just so sad to this happy experience turn into something sad with no answers in sight if ever. I have my hubby and my kids and work in corporate America. For soem people out there unfortunatly twilight, Rob and Kristen are the center of their lives. People call them crazy fans but all they’ve done is love these actors and their movies. I want answers for them not for me. I happen to have four teenage nieces and they’re not very happy right now and that makes me upset. That’s why I reacted the way I did.

He’s not comparing his fans to cereal/calories. He’s making a reference that whatever he says is irrelevant and that no one should care what he says because he won’t be revealing anything in his personal life. I think what is saying he could say they broke up and people still are signing Robsten is unbroken. I understand young fans can not get the whole deal but I would hope they can understand that this could be real and dreams are important But life is not always nice.I love robsten too but I am afraid the are done.

Rob has always said his fans were amazing and has always tried to sign as many autographs as possible but the line is drawn as to his personal life and he intends to keep it that way. That is what class is…you don’t air your dirty laundry in public. Rob was there to promote his movie, not to satisfy everyone’s desire to hear about the details of the cheating scandal and he is earning a great deal of respect by not promoting his personal life. I know one thing and that is this man keeps getting hotter and hotter.
