Kristen Stewart To Promote 'On The Road' At Toronto Film Festival

In what could be her first post-scandal appearance, Kristen is set to promote her new film ‘On The Road’ in Toronto in September, a source tells HollywoodLife.com! Read on for details.

Kristen Stewart has yet to make a public appearance since news broke in late July that she cheated on boyfriend Robert Pattinson with director Rupert Sanders, but that could be changing soon! Kristen will be traveling to the Toronto International Film Festival in September to promote her latest film, On The Road.

TIFF recently announced that there would be a special presentation screening of the film during the festival, with the date of the screening to be announced on August 21. A source confirms with HollywoodLife.com, “Kristen will be there.” The festival will run from Sept. 6 through 16.

Whether this will be Kristen’s first public appearance is another question, though. It is still unclear if Kristen will be attending MTV’s Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sept. 6, as previously planned.

I really hope this goes well for her. I’m afraid for her that when she goes out she’d be greeted with boos and hisses. Fans can be quite rabid, I just hope she’d come out of this okay.

I hope she can make it! she deserves the chace to go back to her life. She need to work, so it would be good for her!

Kristen is brave. The best thing she can do is void speaking to the press. I am not a fan or hers, but she has been kicked like a dog and the more people defend her the hungier the tabliods get.

I hope she’s not scared odf fans trying to physically hurt her. Even though I’ve seen soem harsh comments I don’t think anyone would try to harm her. The worst that will happen is people might start to cry when they see her but that’s about it. I think most fans are more hurt than angry and have said things they just don’t mean. All will be okay.
