The ‘Jackass’ star had to be escorted through a North Carolina airport — in handcuffs!
Bam Margera may be able to get away with anything on Jackass, but this weekend, he learned his antics don’t always fly — literally — in the real world. Authorities at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport refused to let Bam board a flight Aug. 12 because, as TMZ reports, he was swearing loudly and they believed he smelled like alcohol.
A handcuffed Bam, 32, had to be escorted through the airport to a holding cell, where he spent several hours.
Bam tells TMZ he wasn’t drunk at the time, claiming the stink of alcohol was “left over” from the previous evening’s festivities.
