A shooting has been reported near Texas A&M University where ‘multiple people’ were shot — so sad. Read on for more details.

Police reportedly took a man into custody on Monday August 13 after “multiple people” were shot near Texas A&M University.

A number of law enforcement officers were among those shot, Rhonda Seaton of the College Station Police Department told CNN.

Right now, there are no details regarding the number of wounded or their conditions.

The shooting happened one block from campus and the man identified as the shooter was taken into custody earlier today.

Less guns is not the answer. Criminals will always find ways to get guns. An armed American public is the only answer because when seconds count the police are just minutes away.
