‘The Real Housewives of New York City’ was so full of drama on August 13, I honestly couldn’t keep up! Plus, a feud was reignited between Heather and Ramona! Read on for all the details!

The August 13 episode of The Real Housewives Of New York City included a big photo shoot for Sonja Morgan’s toaster oven — torso and all! But when Ramona Singer wasn’t invited to the shoot, drama erupts. Plus, Aviva Drescher’s sex-crazed dad makes another guest appearance, but this time he sets his sights on LuAnn de Lesseps!

Carole Radziwill hosts a White Elephant holiday party for the ladies and their significant others where a very entertaining gift exchange is held. A number of the gifts included espresso cups, a lizard and a sex toy. (Can you guess who brought that?)

Heather Thomson is ready to do business when she arrives to Sonja’s photo shoot, but the lady of the hour, Sonja, arrives late and keeps everyone waiting. ”I feel like I care more about this brand than she does,” Heather confesses. In fact, Sonja displays her complete lack of urgency by dilly dallying in the bathroom with her stylist while cracking jokes about the other housewives — whom we’re supposed to believe are her friends. (Seriously, who makes fun of someone’s prosthetic leg?)

Heather really wants to the shot of Sonja with the half-naked man, but Sonja seems to think that falling asleep on a toaster oven will do a better job at selling the product. If we’re being totally honest, Sonja looked super bored lounging out across the oven, otherwise known to her as a miracle worker.

All the women head over to Carole’s house for an announcement. While there, Carole offers pizza to which Ramona is horrified by. “I don’t eat pizza,” says Ramona. (Who lives in New York City and doesn’t eat pizza?)

Carole announces that she finished her manuscript and would like to invite everyone to celebrate in St. Barts, France!

Ramona throws a party to help launch her red wine. All the ladies come out to support her (we’re sure it’s in their contracts to do so) and this is where the real drama happens!

In true Ramona fashion, she features two large magazine covers with her face plastered across them. Unfortunately, she’s barely recognizable. ”Airbrushed, overly airbrushed,” Aviva jokes about the photos.

As soon as Sonja arrives to the party, Ramona wants all the details of the photo shoot. Sonja feels Heather steamrolled over her and Ramona takes it upon herself to attack Heather on these accusations.

“I have yet to be at a party where Ramona hasn’t been involved or caused some drama,” Carole says.

Having still not forgiven LuAnn and Jacques for their wine tasting snafu, Ramona, Sonja and Aviva start picking on Jacques’ accent once him and the Countess leave the party. Heather is not pleased with this behavior — talking behind someone’s back. She immediately confronts Aviva on the issue and Ramona eavesdrops on their conversation. Heather’s feelings do not sit well with Ramona.

”You talk behind my f–king back,” Ramona yells at Heather. Of course, Ramona runs off before Heather can say a word edgewise, so the Yummy Tummy CEO uses Mario as a punching bag and tells him his wife is “crazy!” Aviva is certainly not a fan of attacking someone through their husband, so she tries stopping Heather. “Whatever, Aviva!” Heather quips.

And it’s “To Be Continued…”

How on EARTH are these ladies going to go to St. Barts together? What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Can they make it work?

You already know therefore considerably in the case of this subject, produced me in my opinion imagine it from a lot of numerous angles. Its like women and men don’t seem to be involved unless it is one thing to accomplish with Lady gaga! Your individual stuffs excellent. At all times take care of it up!

Did you mean when “HE” and LuAnne left Christopher. I’m sure you don’t have an editor because you write so well but you might want to read your work aloud before hitting the ‘post’ button.

Heather isn’t as smart as she thinks she is. The reason she wanted the almost naked guy photo cause she hears sonja talking all about sex most of the time. But that is not everything she is nor is anyone one thing. Also a toaster oven has nothing to do with an unclothed man. Nothing at all. I don’t think heather is all that.

Get a clue, dude… St. Barts is in the Caribbean – not France.

Ramona is NUTS!!! I can barely watch the show anymore…too much screaming, too much stabbing behind the back… too much drama which is disrespectful, and childlike – totally ridiculous, .The women do not listen to each other and it’s getting unreasonable. Ramona is either on some type of drug or is drinking round the clock. She never shuts up! Is all this erratic behavior by Ramona and now the others staged to boost rating? I think it is.

Ramona has proven yet again that she needs to put the Pinot down or/and get psychiatric help. Her paranoia and delusions have lost their entertainment value. She seems very desperate this season.I’m convinced that she’s suffering from some type of mental break or that she is experiencing some type of hormanal imbalance.

Sonya used to be entertaining, but she has morphed into a freeloading rabble rouser. It seems that she’s enjoying the conflict between Ramona and Heather, and is doing everything in her power to fan the flames. Her sense of entitlement is disgusting. Yes, she has a different vision than Heather, but she should appreciate the free work.

Aviva is trying desparately to be relevant. Why confront Louann at the party? Very petty and childish.

Carole’s commentary is entertaining and spot on as usual.

All of these women are closer to AARP status than they are to high school. With the multiple businesses, families, and social itineraries, it would seem they’d have a bit more to do than argue at every social event. The cast is more interesting this season, but Ramona needs to be put out to pasture. Heather, Carol, and even Aviva have enough going on in their lives to make the show interesting without the alcoholic induced rantings of Ramona.

Totally agree with! Had to change the channel several times last night. See my comment above. The show use to be fun to watch… Now it’s giving me a headache. Waiting for it to change to adult-like. It’s pretty child-like.

A. I think Sonja’s (or Sawnya as LuAnn says) ad idea is more tasteful, than a naked man holding a toaster oven over his privates (with food visible)… But having said that; Sonja’s manners (arriving an hour late, talking about changing her tampon and her bloody mess) were shockingly rude and arrogant. I don’t think I heard one “thank you for all your help, guys”. Not one.
B. Ramona hates it when she perceives someone is talking about her behind her back; but then runs around talking about THAT behind everyone else’s back. Pot. Kettle. Black.
C. I love that Mario confronted Jacque; and that should be the end if it. LuAnn was licking her chops to try to trick Ramona into dusting her own wine; the camera doesn’t lie. It’s all there on tape at the beginning of the party…she can’t wait to get going on Ramona, but now wants to play it off as the old “guess the flavor” game? Okay.
D. Do these people ever seek out a quiet moment at home to talk through their beefs? It’s like: let’s get all dressed up for a really fancy gig so I can create an uncomfortable scene that unsettles everyone in attendance and puts a spat that COULD probably be worked out …on steroids, never to see forgiveness, let alone any shade if moving-on. I felt so troubled tonight I my have to sto watching.

Dissing the wine, not dusting the wine. :)

It’s a flipping blog Jerry! Mimi…you are right-on with your comments. I may also stop watching. I had read that the ratings were down significantly and can’t help but think that all of this ridiculous drama is staged. But its getting out of hand.
