Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux met on the set of Wanderlust and debuted their love in May 2011. Ever since then, it’s been a whirlwind of a romance for the two — and finally these lovebirds have officially announced that they’re ready to tie the knot. We’re so excited for them! But before Justin, 41, was linked to the 43-year-old Friends actress, he was just a normal actor/writer in Hollywood! Here are the five things you need to know about the man who stole Jen’s heart.
#1 He Has Famous Relatives
Justin comes from a lineage of famous writers. His mother, Phyllis Theroux, was a famous journalist for The Washington Post and wrote her own memoir, The Journal Keeper. Justin is also the nephew of the famous travel writer, Paul Theroux, and he’s the great-grandson of famous financier H.B. Hollins.
#2 He’s a Bad Boy
Justin got kicked out of multiple prep schools before the age of 14. The Washington D.C. – native eventually settled in at the Buxton School and went to college at a small liberal arts college in Vermont — Bennington College. After graduating from Bennington, he attended the British American Drama Academy to hone his acting skills.
#3 He Guest-Starred On Sex and the City TWICE
Justin appeared in two different Sex and the City episodes, starring as two different characters. In season one, Justin played Jared, a guy whom Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) flirts with at a bar. And in season two, Justin returned playing Vaughn, the guy who suffers from premature ejaculation.
#4 He Went To Prom With An Academy-Award Nominee
Justin’s prom date was also a Hollywood insider! Justin attended the prom with Rachel Grady, a famous documentary film director/producer, who produced Grady in 2005.The film was nominated for Best Documentary Feature at the 79th annual Academy Awards.
#5 He Was In A 14-Year Relationship Before Dating Jen
Before dating his fiancee, Justin dated famous costume designer, Heidi Bivens. The two met when she was 20 and he was 24. They officially broke up last May, right when Justin and Jen’s romance went public. Heidi’s rep released a statement at the time about the break-up saying, “Heidi and Justin have been together for 14 years. They met when she was 20 years old and he 24, and yes, she just moved out of their home last weekend. She has no comment.”

He’s cute! I don’t particulary like her too much-in my opinion her acting is blah. She’s pretty, very pretty, but not very interesting to me. She deserves all the happiness in the world (and for goodness sake, a child! She wants one so bad!) and I hope this lasts.
He’s a handsome little devil, she’s America’s “sweeheart”, they’re very cute together-they almost resemble each other a bit in that top pic!
And his eyebrows are everything to me. :)
