Kristen Stewart is the face of Balenciaga‘s new fragrance Florabotanica, and the brand’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere always sensed Kristen’s mysterious side.
“Kristen Stewart has a real personality,” Nicolas says. “She captivated me when we met a few years ago. I had not forgotten her. She is the perfect embodiment of a certain idea of Balenciaga: that beauty that is both pure and uncontrollable. We met again for Florabotanica. She is totally this graceful and mysterious figure that symbolises this strange botanical garden.”

She is very mysterious, you can tell just by looking at her. That was the first thing I thought when I saw her in Twilight, because she reminds me of me. She has an aura that attracts, you want to know more about her, but she won’t let you in. The eyes, even the color, the shyness, the mysterie and her beauty. I am convinced that her being mysterious makes her even more attractive. She is a very serious person. I understand her, because I got into arguiments with my former boss because he thought I was hiding things. The way I walk, talk, smile, not tell him things; he just couldn’t put a finger on it (me lol)) where as for me it was easy, the other way around.
