Earl Spencer, 47, and his wife Countess Spencer, 39, have made sure Earl’s sister Princess Diana‘s legacy lives on. The couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter, named Lady Charlotte Diana Spencer.

The healthy baby girl was born weighing 8 lb., 14 oz. at Althorp, the Spencer family home. She is the first Spencer baby to be born ancestral estate since 1793, according to the Daily Mail.

“She’s adorable – another feisty little Spencer girl,” Earl said.

“And, though it’s been 15 years since Diana died, I still miss her every day, and I very much wanted her commemorated in the naming of our daughter,” he added.

Congrats to the proud parents! What a beautiful way to remember the late Princess Diana.
