Although Anna said she’s ‘incredibly excited’ to have her first babies (twins!) with real-life husband and on-screen love interest Stephen Moyer, she still worries something could go wrong! Read on for more details.

Anna Paquin‘s character Sookie on HBO’s True Blood is an outspoken tough girl who isn’t afraid to cause a scene, but her real-life persona is much more reserved.

Even when it comes to her pregnancy — she is expecting twins with her husband of two years, Stephen Moyer — Anna is reluctant to gush about the details.

“I honestly don’t know why it’s such big news when an actress gets pregnant,” she said in an interview with Redbook.

She seemed even more shy than usual when asked about her upcoming bundle of joy.

“Obviously we’re incredibly excited,” she said, “but we’re still feeling a little protective over the whole thing. Something could happen, you know?”

It looks like Anna’s mamma bear instincts are coming out early!

I can understand why she feels overwhelmed. I’m just one person wanting to see how they are doing constantly – I can’t imagine not being able to go or do anything without an audience!
