It’s been rumored for quite some time that One Direction would be a part of the closing ceremony at the 2012 London Olympic games. But it looks like it’s finally official — our favorite group will take the stage!
One Direction joins the lengthy list of accomplished British talent taking part in the ceremony that also includes The Spice Girls, Jessie J, The Who, George Michael, and Russell Brand, according to E! News. The boys are rumored to be performing “What Makes You Beautiful” from a carnival-like flat-bed truck that will move around the track, reports The Mirror. “They’ve been at rehearsals and can’t wait to do their bit. It will be an unforgettable occasion and they feel privileged to be a part of it,” says a source. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, August 12.

One direction sucked. They are non talented and they suck at singing. Same with Spice Girls. They are both terrible and should’t be called britsh music. That was the worst part of the ceremony.
