HollywoodLife.com spoke with Aaron at the NYC premiere of ‘Two Days In New York’ and he revealed what it was like to lose his sister to a drug overdose in February.

Aaron Carter misses his sister Leslie Carter every single day. The 25-year-old died in February and Aaron is speaking out for the first time to HollywoodLife.com about the tragedy and how his family dealt with it.

“First and foremost I just want to thank my fans, through the grieving process that my family had to go through, losing my sister to a drug overdose.” he told us at The Cinema Society & MCM & Grey Goose premiere of Two Days in New York. “It was really hard to deal with and my fans were very supportive and even the media was very supportive and it wasn’t harsh at all. I didn’t have to call my attorney to stop anything. It was a nice process that we got to go through. My family dealt with the loss of my sister and the fans were respectful and very kind and showed a lot of appreciation and love for Leslie.”

We asked Aaron if he’s planning on writing any music in her memory and he said: “I could write a few ballads and express my emotions that way but when it comes to my music, I want to keep it fun and happy.”

It’s “You’re welcome.” You’re = You ARE. “Your” means something that belongs to you. Like, “Your Sandwich” and “Your Kitchen.” Get it? LOL.
