Noted relationship experts warn HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that if Kristen and Rob hook up after breaking up, it can only cause pain. Read on for the details!

With Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson‘s relationship on the rocks after Kristen’s fling with Rupert Sanders, they’re looking forward to an awkward press tour for Breaking Dawn, Pt. 2. While a friend of Rob’s insists that it will be hard for him to resist hooking up with her while on the tour, experts tells us that would be a bad idea.

Diana Falzone, relationship expert, tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that a hook up would only confuse Rob further. “If you’re very vulnerable and hurt after a break up, hooking up is a terrible idea. It will only complicate your already confused emotions,” Diana says.

Cooper Lawrence agrees with Diana, saying, “One of you is more likely to be hurt all over again.” “Even though you decide it’s ‘just sex,’ one of you always…secretly…wants more. Getting back together is less likely to happen, so it’s easy to predict that someone will get hurt,” he says. He adds that any hooking up would make it incredibly difficult for Rob to move on. “It’s harder to move on. If you stay attached to your ex, even just sexually, you aren’t really present for a new romance.”

While neither think the hook up is a good idea, Diana does think Rob should begin dipping his toes back in the dating world. “I think flirting with others is necessary. You don’t put yourself out there emotionally or physically when flirting, yet it helps to build back dating confidence and know you’ve still got it,” she says.
